I love the idea of these, but I really don’t trust Urban Decay right now given their most recent releases.
Cutie concept! Hope the quality is there too, since lately UD has been a bit.. lackluster 🙄
Cute, and I like the ’90s one, but I really wish people/companies would stop thinking the ’70s were all disco all the time. The early-to-mid ’70s, my favorite makeup time ever, was mostly about the light and natural look — sheer foundation, gel blush or light powder blush, one or two eyeshadows at a time, little to no eyeliner, mascara, and natural or thin brows which then didn’t overwhelm one’s eyes like the current ginormous IG brows. That time seems to be forgotten though except by oldies like me. 😉
I agree with you. And I don’t remember these colors being all that popular in the 70’s, certainly not the red. I was wearing pinks and yellows on my eyes (as a result of a makeover by the former beauty editor of Glamour (remember that?) at Bendel’s (RIP)) and those shades were hard to find.
As with MAC, I retain a real soft spot for UD, in spite of its missteps over the years (and more in recent years). So I hope these are good. I’m liking the look of both Boogie (though I’d gladly pass on the “pressed glitter”) and Soundtrack.
If, and I do mean IF, the quality is there, I’m down for Pop Queen and Boogie. Somehow, I fear that these just won’t be UD’s best formulas. I hope I’m wrong.
This feels like the old Urban Decay and I like it! My favorite of the bunch is 1993. It looks like the “Boogie” palette solo shot might be missing.
These are so cute! I don’t love any of the color stories enough to pick them up, though.
These are cute!! I sure hope they’re not garbage lol but with UD you just have to wait for reviews.
I love the theme of these, especially the 80s one. I’m just wary of UD’s quality.
I love all of them, especially 1993, but I don’t have high hopes for the quality… Will there be any 24/7 eyeliners as well in this collection? I’d like a pale blue shimmer one…
This is a cute concept and I wouldn’t be mad if my spouse put any of these (except Pop Queen) in my stocking… but I probably won’t buy them for myself unless they get good reviews and go on sale after the holidays.
I definitely want Pop Queen , very cute palette❤️
I wonder if UD is trying to recreate their hey days of mini palettes like the Fun, Mariposa or Feminine palette. But nowadays I would wonder about the quality. None of these are really appealing to me – it does seem like a random collection of shades and colours.
I like small palettes and the idea of these. Hoping that the quality will be better as in the past…..
