The Baked Blush-n-Brighten formula is supposed to be “smooth” and “long-wearing” with “a blend of rich, marbleized color.” It had semi-opaque coverage, which was somewhat buildable, but it wasn’t quite as pigmented as some shades. The texture was smooth, slightly dusty, but it was blendable and forgiving on the skin–I didn’t notice the dustiness in practice, as it didn’t sheer out too easily nor did it look dry or emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It had a more pronounced sheen on the skin, but it still didn’t emphasize pores for me; it is a more obvious highlighter, though, so if you tend to opt for subtler finishes, this one might not be for you. On me, the blush lasted for eight hours before fading.

I absolutely love the shade, but I’m a bit apprehensive of the more ‘obvious’ highlighters as I’m always worried it’ll settle into my pores. On another note, have you considered doing an updated brushes post? You did one (albeit a while ago in 2013!) and I was wondering if your favourites have changed since? All the best x

This is my daily go-to, and I like it a lot. Great staying power, and the rosy/copper tones work on me. I do use a very light hand, since it’s so pigmented, which perhaps is why it doesn’t come off so metallic or intense on me, so it’s just fine for my conservative office environment. Thanks for reviewing it.

This is a stunning color on you Christine. Really lovely with your skin tone and eyes. Man you really work that Viseart Theory Palette, just gorgeous. I just picked up the Too Faced Bellini blush. I know it wasn’t reviewed the best but when I tried it in Ulta yesterday I really liked how it looked on my super pale skin with peachy undertones and when my daughter came to look for me (I had back injections the day before and wasn’t feeling too hot and looking even worse for wear but since Ulta and the Dr. are 3 hours away I forced myself to take advantage before the drive home), anyway, she walked up to me and she said, “Mom you are looking so much better, you have beautiful color in your cheeks. You must be feeling so much better.” Sold right there. Thanks for the review as always.

I haven’t finished reading comments yet but I wanted to jump in here. This is one of my all time favorites, I use it a lot but because of it being domed and baked it’s lasted me… Gosh.. I can’t even guess how long I’ve had it and it’s got lots left. But mine is WAY different than this one. I can’t believe how different. The marbling is more “swirly” and distinct in mine. Mine isn’t matte but it isn’t near as luminous. The pink is a bit cooler and lighter in the older one. When I get home I need to really compare the two so I can be specific but I would be so upset had I reordered this expecting what I’ve been using for years and getting this. This is very pretty but it’s not what I expect Pink Grapefruit to be. I’m really shocked.

As I said with an earlier review of Laura Heller blush, I need to try her products again. Thanks for the great and honest reviews.
