MAC Sunbasque is a moderately warm-toned, light-medium copper with a frost finish. It is a permanent blush that retails for $24.00 and contains 0.21 oz.

Editor's Review

MAC Sunbasque Powder Blush ($24.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium copper with warm, rusty undertones and fine, gold and copper pearl. It had semi-sheer (as expected, based on the "Sheertone Shimmer" finish), buildable pigmentation--up to semi-opaque in three layers--with a drier, dustier texture that didn't feel particularly promising by touch, but it applied better than anticipated! I remember it being smoother years ago, but memories get fuzzy when a decade passes (I think Sunbasque might have been my second blush purchase, pre-blog era!). The blush applied evenly to bare skin, blended out effortlessly, and sat well on my skin without emphasizing my skin's texture but still producing a noticeable sheen--more shine than overt shimmer. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading slightly.

Sunbasque is a beautiful warm bronze color, that would be amazing if it wasn't a little bit too dark for my NC20 complexion. It would be definitely more suited for an NC30 and up. Fortunately, while the color has a good pay off, it's also very blendable, so I manage to sheer it out somehow. While in the pan it has some peach copper tones, on me it translates into a deep warm bronze / terracotta, with very subtle hints of pearl. I use it more as a blush-bronze crossover. Surprisingly, it never emphasized my pores or texture.

Given by a friend with a lighter cooler skintone. It was instant love! For me it's a cross between bronzer and blush, so it's my quick go-to color especially for everyday colors.
