Kosas Longitude Zero (High Intensity) Color & Light Pressed Palette Review & Swatches
Longitude Zero (High Intensity)
Kosas Longitude Zero (High Intensity) Color and Light Pressed Palette ($34.00 for 0.28 oz.) features “double” the pigment with a deeper pink blush paired with a darker, pinky-beige highlighter. Both shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing; they were easy to work with, and while the formula has more powderiness to it than seems ideal, they actually looked fantastic on my skin as they were almost smoothing.

Formula Overview
$34.00/0.28 oz. - $121.43 Per Ounce
The formula offers two levels of intensity--a standard level and a "High Intensity" version--that allows the customer to pick the level of pigmentation and depth desired. The standard intensity offers "buildable, blendable" blush and highlighter that is "easy-to-apply," while the "High Intensity" offers "double color payoff."
The texture of both the blush and highlighter seemed drier, more powdery, but I was surprised--and impressed!--by how beautifully the powders applied, blended, and sat on my skin. They went on with almost no effort at all with an even lay down of color that diffused easily along the edges, didn't look flat or dry on, and were fairly true-to-color.
The pigmentation of the standard intensity level was more medium to semi-opaque, buildable coverage, while the pigmentation of the High Intensity versions were nearly opaque to opaque and were a bit darker/deeper in tone overall. The highlighter formula seemed marginally dustier compared to the powder blush, but both lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Longitude Zero (High Intensity) (Blush)
Longitude Zero (High Intensity) (Blush) is a deep pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color coverage that could be built up to full pigmentation with less than half of a layer. The texture was soft, lightly powdery in the pan (almost dry to the touch), but it applied evenly, blended out with ease, and looked way more flattering over skin–not dry or powdery at all–after it was blended. I love being surprised–in a good way–upon actual application. It lasted well for nine hours before showing signs of fading.

Longitude Zero (High Intensity) (Highlighter)
Longitude Zero (High Intensity) (Highlighter) is a medium, rosy beige with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had rich color coverage that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out easily along the edges without emphasizing my skin’s natural texture.
The powder had a soft, moderately powdery consistency–use a lighter hand to avoid too much excess kicked up in the pan–that “melted” on my skin for a seamless application. This shade wore nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

This is very nice — I need my pinks to not be blue-based. Not to sound dumb, but did you take a pic of yourself with both the blush and highlighter on at once? Like is the second pic a combo? My impression is that there is no pic of both combined (either as a swatch or as a face photo), correct?
There’s no picture of me wearing both simultaneously.
This duo is lovely. I could make use a pink of like this; pretty much approximates my face flush colour, however, I do have dupes for the h/l.. I saw MUG lustre all over it before I even clicked dupes. I had a similar toned blush by Bobbi Brown—it was half of a bronzer/blush duo which I really loved it, but it started the deterioriate after .. a dozen years..or more—which I was forced to toss.
Of all the Kosas cheek duos, this is one of my top two picks! And even though it’s showing that I have a dupe for the blush, CP Cruel Intentions, I’m pretty sure that one is all dried up by now. Meaning that this lets me off the hook and free to get this in its place!
Very beautiful, esp the HL. Coincidental that I was thinking about SG Melody this AM. And OFRA HLs are pretty TDF as well.
