Top Dupes
- Marc Jacobs Beauty Whirl(pool) (P, $25.00) is lighter, cooler (80% similar).
- MAC New Marine (P, $17.00) is more shimmery, darker, cooler (80% similar).
Formula Overview
$22.00/0.04 oz. - $550.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "high-impact" color with "long-wear" that is "waterproof" and "glides like a liquid." The majority of the eyeliners had semi-opaque to opaque coverage, which was quite good for a pencil eyeliner. The matte shades tended to have the highest and most even coverage compared to the shimmers, which were less consistent.
The texture was lightweight, smooth, and creamy without being too emollient, though they are good for smudging and take longer than average (but not THAT long!) to dry down.
I did not find the wear to be exceptional; they were solid and wore around eight hours on the lower lash line before thinning noticeably, while they had decent (six-hour) wear on my water line. Both lengths of wear are average for pencil eyeliner for me with the longer-wearing formulas getting closer to 10 to 12 hour wear.

These look fantastic!
Are these twist up or sharpened? How would you compare them in terms of wear time to Urban Decay 24/7? Do they fade evenly or smear as they wear? Urban Decay is the only eyeliner that doesn’t give me “panda eyes” through the day but I am always looking for alternatives!
It depends on the shade – they don’t all wear as long, but they wear similarly as the Urban Decay eyeliners, probably a little shorter. If a shade smeared, it would be noted above with the respective shade! 🙂 You sharpen these.
Thanks for all the info!
Teal and Navy Mattes are definitely my types of shades! All my other similar depth teal eyeliners are metallic, so having a good matte version speaks to me. Oh, and that purplish toned navy would really light up the green in my eyes, plus look great paired up with purple eye looks, too!
The green/teals look so good. The sage matte would be great to wear on its own as a fresh summery pop.
I love the shade selection, but not the matte finish. Though I do think these have been done very well. Sage matte would be a hard one to get right.
If it really stays in place as well as UD 24/7, Navy Matte would be a great shade for tightlining my upper lid.
