Estee Lauder Born Flirt, Profound, Imaginary Illuminating Shine Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Born Flirt (901)
Estee Lauder Born Flirt (901) Pure Color Illuminating Shine ($32.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light, muted brown with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. The texture was slightly thicker and less emollient compared to most shades in the range, which gave it better adhesion, though it didn’t look as luminous on. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single pass, which was more coverage than marketed. This shade stayed on nicely for four hours and felt hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$32.00/0.06 oz. - $533.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "sheer to medium, buildable" coverage with "hydrating shine" while helping to "reduce fine, dry lines and lip flakiness." The majority of the shades had more medium, buildable coverage that could be built up to nearly opaque coverage.
The lighter shades were the least forgiving and sometimes emphasized or gathered around lip lines and lip texture, while mid-tone and deeper shades often applied beautifully with even coverage and in a way that made my lips appear smoother and plusher. The consistency was lightweight with moderate slip and felt like a lipstick-lip balm hybrid as a result, and the finish was glossier and more luminous (without being overtly shimmery/pearly).
They were comfortable and hydrating to wear, though they were shorter-wearing due to the amount of slip, so most shades wore for three hours with a few of the richer and deeper shades lasting almost five hours on me. They had a sweet, vanilla-like scent but no discernible taste.

Profound (902)
Estee Lauder Profound (902) Pure Color Illuminating Shine ($32.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, light-medium brown with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff–higher coverage than expected–that adhered evenly to my lips and didn’t drag during application.
The consistency felt lightweight, smooth, and creamy with moderate slip and wasn’t too thick. It wore well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

Imaginary (903)
Estee Lauder Imaginary (903) Pure Color Illuminating Shine ($32.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light, peachy coral with strong, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had a lightweight, almost balm-like consistency with moderate slip and creaminess.
The lipstick applied comfortably over my lips, but it had enough slip that it settled into my lip lines and wasn’t as forgiving of lip texture as other shades in the range. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, which was slightly more pigmentation that marketed. It lasted well for three hours and felt hydrating over time.

Loving 901 Born Flirt, looks like the perfect warm nude for my nc30 skin tone.
Oh man, if not for masks, I would run out and get Profound! However, for the immediate future, I see no point in buying a regular lipstick that doesn’t go super matte or is quite sheer and light toned.
Not such a great rating for an expensive lipstick in very popular shades. I am wondering whether it would be easy to apply without a bullet top too.
I like Born Flirt and it looks so hydrating. The name is a bit cringe though. Reminds me of the Walters interview of Britney Spears.
