This has a similar formula to products like NARS Dual Intensity, MAC Extra Dimension, Estee Lauder Gelee, and so forth. The texture was smooth, finely-milled, and very blendable without being too soft or too firm. The texture feels a little dry, but it doesn’t look dry or powdery on the skin. It doesn’t emphasize pores on my skin, though if you apply more heavily and feel like you have larger pores, then there’s enough shimmer in it that it could be a possibility. I liked that while it was very light, it didn’t have a really strong, white powdery base, so it didn’t look chalky on my skin tone (and sometimes these types of colors can), which makes it more versatile for a greater number of skin tones. I think that those with cooler undertones, the pink tone/tint in this may be more noticeable as well. The highlighter wore well for eight hours before fading on me. This product also came with a mini kabuki brush, which is okay, but I did personally prefer a less dense brush for application (as well as a softer one). This is one of the better highlighters Dior has released in the last few years.

What is the eye look you are wearing! It is absolutely stunning.
It is listed in the sidebar as well as underneath the post!
That is really beautiful and ethereal. I like that Dior used a light hand with the pink tint.
It is pretty!
This one is too light for me, but my wallet is trembling in fear, as I’m sure the Nude color will review well, too. Unless you can find me a passable dupe, I’m going to be out $58!
The Nude is super dupable. It’s your standard gold – nothing special at all.
Christine, You da real MVP!
This is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS on you, Christine. This is going on my shopping list for sure!
Yayy!! 🙂 Thank you!
Christine, you might want to take a look in the “Savings” section on the DUPE LIST. All the “savings” are listed in the $580 range, which must be some sort of glitch.
Oh, so sorry! I typed the price as “$580” when I added the formula. It should be fixed now.
Pretty! This is going on my wish list! This is the first Dior product that I really wanted in a long time. I’m going to see how the rest of the line reviews before I make my choices. But,I’m really loving this! Thanks for spending your money on this stuff and reviewing for us Christine!
It’s a pretty one! 😀
I like this! I won’t purchase though. Too similar to Pearl to justify the expense.
Gotcha 🙂
Pretty, pretty, pretty!
Agreed!
I think this is a glorious colour to use over your blush. Very pretty on you Christine and a great rating too.
I bet it would pair well with a variety of blushes!
What are the best light pink-ish highlighters you’ve tried??? I’m trying to find one, but you don’t see them too often! By the way, I love your reviews so much! I don’t think anyone else in the beauty community is as thorough and honest!
Are you looking for the pink to provide color or just a tint?
Hello, I’m also interested in your favorite pink highlighter (no color, just a tint), because I only have golden ones that don’t suit well with my neutral-rosy skintone. I skipped this one from Dior because I found it glittery. I would like an intense one, but without glitters. Hope you can give me some names. Thanks!!!!

Oh no! It doesn’t look pink at all *sob*
Aww!
Oh my! I have enough highlighters. I have enough highlights. I have enough highlighters.
Well, I tried to talk myself out of it. Looks like it is not happening.
This is lovely on you.
lol! 🙂
The imprint is so pretty that I don’t think I could mess it up with a brush.
Aw!
Looks very nice. Something to tink about as my highlighters are all more gold coloured.
It is nice!
Ooh, such a pretty highlighter, and I don’t have any of the dupes lol. There are lots of cheaper dupes but I’d love a cute one like this!
Uh oh! You might be in trouble 😉
Yay!!! So excited for these, so glad they’re good!
Me too!
Too expensive.
I have better past selections with nicer cases.
Seems like a lot of powders are now made in Italy rather than France.
Thanks for the review anyhow.
No problem, Stacey!
Hmm, I thought powders made in Italy were considered the best ?
The best powders I own are made in Italy. They’re excellent on high quality items
And here goes my resolution to not buy any new highlighter in 2016… I might get it anyway as it looks a bit less intense than Pearl from Becca (and Becca is such a pain to get where I live :P).
I didn’t expect this highlighter to look so gorgeous on your skintone, it’s a great surprise :). Love that you list everything you used for a make up btw!
lol! Broken already 😉
Hi Christine – how is the packaging on this? Is it cheap flimsy plastic or a heavier plastic/metal? It looks so pretty!
It feels like the heavier stuff, not flimsy to me.
what are your best pink highlights of life? The ones that give that gorgeous soft whitish pink glow on top of the cheekbones?
Thanks!
You can search for pink highlighters by using the Swatch Gallery and selecting highlighters > pink.
How does this compare to the light side of MAC definitely defined? I compared the swatches on the site, but the definitely defined swatch looked to be in very different lighting. The light side of that is HG for me, so I’d love to find a replacement.
The lighter side is a lot more yellow based. I would not say they’re comparable.
How is it similar to the balm cindy highlighter?

How does this compare to bobbi brown highlighter in pink glow? I don’t see it listed as a dupe. Are they not alike. If not I want to get this one. Lol
They’re not similar at all – http://www.temptalia.com/side-by-side?sbs_1_search=Bobbi+Brown+Pink+Glow&sbs_1=180701&sbs_2_search=Dior+Glowing+Pink+%28001%29&sbs_2=217001
Great to know. I will be getting this as soon as I can find it lol. I just figured since they both have pink in the name.. my pink glow from BobbI brown comes out like silver. I guess I haven’t reached enough of the pink swirl yet. I don’t know if I should just get the glowing pink or get both the glowing pink and glowing nude. Decisions decisions. ..
Hi Christine,
Have you tried the Anastasia Beverly Hills “so hollywood” highlighter and if so, how would you say this Dior one compares to that?
thanks!

I stumbled across this in sephora yesterday and fell in love. I usually go for the nude/golds but this wore so beautifully on my warm skin I had to bite the price tag. Makes me feel better when I splurge on a product with the Christine blessing! 🙂
