Makeup Geek Psychedelic is a neutral-toned, light beige with a pearl finish. It is a permanent highlighter that retails for $20.00 and contains 0.25 oz.

Editor's Review

Makeup Geek Psychedelic Highlighter ($20.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a very light, nearly-white base with a gold to pink duochrome finish. I did detect the duochrome with this shade, both swatched and applied to the skin. It had a tendency to look starker and lighter against my skin tone (despite it being designed for medium skin tones) straight on--almost ashy--but then very pretty and reflective at an angle, as it looked pinker. I found it more wearable when paired with a blush than on its own since it seemed to lighten the area on its own. I expect this to be more wearable on lighter skin tones, though.

According to Makeup Geek, the formula is supposed to be "super-smooth" and "incredibly pigmented." The powder had a thicker feel to it, though it also seemed a little looser in the pan compared to the other shades. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that blended out well, and though it looked a little dusty swatched, it did not appear dry or dusty on the skin. I would say the finish of this shade was less reflective/shiny compared to most of the shades in the range, so it would be one to look for if you wanted something more moderate in sheen. It wore well for just over eight hours on me before fading noticeably.
