Formula Overview
$45.00/0.12 oz. - $375.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "ultra-pigmented" with a "matte" finish that is transfer-proof and wears for 16 hours. The majority of the shades were nearly to fully opaque in one layer, while they applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without dragging. I noticed that they had a stiffer exterior for the first swipe (more so than the average lip product) but using them after swatches, they glided across my lips and had a velvety feel but were quite lightweight.
There was a very slight "set" to it as the texture felt a touch tacking when I pressed my lips together, but it didn't lift or move the product around by doing so.
I'd describe the finish as satin or semi-matte, which then will wear down to a more matte finish as they are worn. I could see the formula lasting closer to 16 hours if one did not partake in any meals (maybe one very light, oil-free kind of meal). I felt like as soon as I had one meal, there was significant breakdown of the product. It wasn't an issue with drinking water or my morning latte, though, and it was, in fact, transfer-proof.
For a product that claims to wear for 16 hours, I think that it surviving at least one meal is a perfectly reasonable expectation, but if you go that long between meals, you may find the wear to be longer on average than I did.
It had a powdery, floral scent that was noticeable applied for the first few hours, though I didn't detect any taste.

Love ’em both, but it’s Grace that I know I can get away with and also have it look beautiful on me.
Cherie is a stunner, shade wise. But, I learned my lesson with MAC Vegas Volt that these level of coral or such can quickly look too bright and too light on me
Forever Grace is the better one out of the two, quality wise and is the more interesting coral shade to me.
I truly understand if the workload gets too overwhelming… But I do miss the time when a lipstick review also showed a picture of the lipstick on where you also could see the whole face, as that gives a better idea of what overall effect the lipstick can get and a better understanding of what undertones it may suit. The extreme close up is good for evaluating texture and opacity and more technical stuff. But the whole face gives an idea of the lip product as a whole and the impression it may give. Even if there is only one model it still tells a lot more!
Especially I find it useful when looking at nudes and corals like here where one of the things I at least look out for is how much white is in the base which for me determines if the colour will blend in easily with my skin tone or not…
Again, it’s not a criticism in any way, just a way to try and say that I have truly appreciated the head shots a lot in combination with the extreme close ups.
Hi Scout,
Thanks for the feedback, and I feel really terrible for disappointing you – I don’t think they will come back because of the significant, positive impact it has had on my mental health – they started to cause me such anxiety and sadness. Physically, my right hand has been in chronic pain for the past three years (I see someone once a week to manage the pain), and this has been a huge help in minimizing the actions that cause the most pain (shutter clicks, editing photos). I’m just so sorry that they were helpful and that now the reviews are less helpful – I definitely understand and apologize for not being capable of doing those anymore.
