ColourPop x Disney Ariel, Belle, Cinderella Lux Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Ariel
ColourPop Ariel Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark, peachy coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that glided across my lips with ease and didn’t emphasize my lip lines. It wore well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.12 oz. - $83.33 Per Ounce
The formula that is supposed to be a "creamy-matte" that "glides on like butter, doesn't feather or bleed, and lasts so long you'll forget you're even wearing it." The majority of the shades were quite pigmented with full color payoff in a single stroke with a few in the more semi-opaque coverage range.
The texture was, on average, smooth, lightly creamy, and not too thick or too thin, so there was no tugging during application but the color didn't feel slippery while worn, which made them easier to apply straight from the tube and low-maintenance on the lips.
They tend to dry and wear down to a soft matte finish within one to three hours of wear, and while they are very lightweight on, they hug the lips more as they become more matte (compared to initial feel). The wear time has been between four and six hours for most shades, and most shades were non-drying to lightly hydrating. They were vanilla-scented but had no discernible taste.

Ariel
LELimited Edition. $10.00.
Belle
ColourPop Belle Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, rosy plum with warm undertones and a cream finish. The lipstick had opaque color payoff in a single layer, which adhered evenly and smoothly across my lips. It was lightly creamy with some slip initially, and there was a smidgen of product that gathered in my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The lipstick stayed on well for five hours and was lightly moisturizing.

Cinderella
ColourPop Cinderella Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium cotton candy pink with cool, bluish undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was nearly opaque, but the texture was more prone to separating along my lip lines, even though there wasn’t anything notable about the feel of it going on that stood out. It was lightly creamy but not overly emollient, so it didn’t drag on my lips nor did it slide around while worn. It lasted well for five hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

I’m so thankful for your reviews – it looks like the swatches on the ColourPop website are way darker, or could it be just me?
They’re all pretty shades, but there’s nothing there I need. I’m also disappointed in the packaging. I wish they matched the boxes they came in. Then I might have been a little tempted.
Glad to see they’re continuing with the winning Lux Lipstick cream formula. Something about the Lippie Stix formula never worked that well on me but these are great.
These turned out to be beautiful shades that so far, capture the essence of the 3 princesses repped here!
The one shade that I; a.) have no dupes for, and b.) can actually wear, is Ariel.
However, I would love to buy the entire collection, preserve and store it for my 2 granddaughters! They are still far too young to receive it yet, but when they are 15 and 18, ten years from now, I can only imagine how much they would treasure this!
These lipsticks look beautiful. I don’t have any colors like the 1st 2. Might consider these. I am waiting for my 1st color pop order! Yes Please palette & 2 of the lux lipsticks. So, I’ll see if I like the formula.
Fabulous shades, especially Belle and at such a fantastic price.
Belle really is very nice.
These all look lovely!
Do they have any scent or taste? I can be sensitive to both, depending on what the scent/taste is. I’ve never bought anything from this company before. I stick to MAC for lipsticks.
They are vanilla-scented. Please check “Formula Overview” in the future for this type of info – anything that is related to the formula overall will be there!
Lovely shades. I find myself quite liking Cinderella.
First lipstick colors (Ariel & Belle) and lipstick that’s interested me here in some time! Really nice on you Christine, and I like the creamy texture.
