I like the color story concepts of all three palettes, the swatches do look good too. I think however, that the Flower palette work better with a deep purple or burgundy instead of the black.
Also, in Thumper, Friend Owl and Long Ears look too similar to each other, I guess one of them could have been more pink or maybe peach. Or maybe satin taupe?

This collection sounds as sweet as my childhood memories.
I think I would wear Bambi very often but also Flowers has some nice shades. Raindrop as well seem pretty particular but I’m not so convinced by the glosses…

I’m glad the trend for 2021 seems to be smaller, more curated palettes. I don’t plan on getting anything save the lashes from this collection, but it’s cute and seems decent quality

This reminds me to start saving for Lady & the Tramp immediately. (Vapor palette that undoubtedly will exist some day.) Every once in a while you are struck by what a total genius Walt Disney was way BITD. Now that Disney is as common as air, everything Disney monetized, licensed, and omnipresent, we barely notice that these early to midcentury classics have been beloved by kids/parents for up to 80 years. Bambi was made before the Second World War! And you didn’t even think it was old, once you got into it. US kids teethed on these films. For generations. They are arguably one of the US’s greatest exports. WD, oh, enough paeans for Walt. Think about Bambi. For many, Bambi was your first exposure to the reality of death. In an ANIMATED FILM.

AND let’s not forget the amazing artists who animated these magnificent works BY HAND! No computer generated images in those days. Thousands of drawings required, each cell a work of art in its own right. I’m actually more of a Warner Bros. fan (Bugs, Daffy, Pepe, etc.) but I adore the imagery created by these masters.

Of course, I now want all of these palettes after seeing the swatches.

IKR? Don’t you wish you had some hand colored cels? I’m in hysterics over the Warner Brothers bit. That’s my first exposure to overarching PC. I’m an slp, and unless I’m mistaken, the national association made an official statement about how inappropriate WB cartoons are, because most characters have speech defects. I was officially not allowed to like the WB characters, lol.

Glad to see there are no pressed glitters! My feelings are still hurt about the animal crossing collection though, I was so disappointed when I found out all 4 palettes contained pressed glitters :,(

Purty could work well as a lip liner for me. I wish the lip oils had some more pigment as they look mostly interchangeable, I have one but why would I get more shades?

Nothing here appeals to me at all. This happens most often with Spring releases – the pastels and warm colours – coral, apricot, peach – are just not things that look good on me. Of course, when Fall hits, I almost always have the exact OPPOSITE reaction!

Oh, darn! I love Bambi! I have loved Bambi most of my life. I got it as a little comic magazine, I still have it, and I had it read to me, I read it myself and finally when my son was a little boy I finally saw the film. I have cried over Bambi’s mother and laughed at Thumper, I adored Flower and of course loved Bambi himself.
In short, I really want all of the palettes, but realistically Bambi is too warm and I have so many warm shades in so many palettes, Flower and Thumper though might just make it across to Europe. If, of course they review well.
I’ve not been a bit interested in anything from CP in a very long time, sure there’s been a few things that looked nice, but not nice enough for me.
