Whitetail is a medium-dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish with sparkles throughout. The sparkles did not bind with the underlying eyeshadow, so there was some fallout from their inclusion when I worked with this shade on my lid--even if I tried to pat it on and barely blend most of it.
The texture was fairly powdery, despite being more finely-milled and substantial, so it was messy to work with. It had opaque color coverage that barely sheered out, which was impressive given how much fallout there was. The color stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.
