Third Eye
ColourPop Third Eye Matte Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark peach with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The color coverage was opaque in a single stroke, which applied evenly and never tugged or dragged during application. The consistency was lightweight, velvety, and smooth, but it wasn’t the most flattering finish when worn as it separated along my lip lines a bit, though it wasn’t too noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It lasted for four hours and was non-drying.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.12 oz. - $58.33 Per Ounce
The Matte Lux formula is supposed to have a "velvet matte" finish that's "long-wearing" with "intense pigmentation and a soft blurring finish." Most of the shades are quite pigmented with four to six hour wear and a non-drying feel. The texture varied a bit as some shades were smooth, velvety, and thin without emphasizing my lip lines or pulling into them but several separated along my lip lines noticeably or color settled into my lip lines over time. I didn't get much scent from them--possibly subtle sweetness--and no discernible taste.

Name Drop
ColourPop Name Drop Matte Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a lightweight, smooth, lightly creamy texture that wasn’t too thin or too thick and glided on without tugging. Unfortunately, the color seemed to separate along my lip lines and settle color there, too. The color stayed on nicely for four hours before settling too noticeably. The formula was non-drying.

Big Break
ColourPop Big Break Matte Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer that applied evenly and comfortably across my lips, but the color separated along my deeper lip lines and color settled there over time. It wore well for four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.

Honestly, the only shade I see here that could look remotely good on me out of the three reviewed may be Big Break. But for some reason, I’m just not feeling any of this trio! Weird, huh?
Sadly, I had the same experience with the lipstick from this formula which I tried, Paparazzi – was super pigmented and comfortable, but split up in a really weird and unflattering way ?.
Did also get Confetti Cake and it seems like it’s better, though I didn’t wear it as long (since I just put it on after work the day I got it…don’t have many places where I can wear green lipstick currently, haha)
