Editor's Review

Too Faced Melted Peony Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a "dusty rose." It's a light-medium, muted pink with subtle warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color payoff that yielded full color coverage, which wore well for five hours. MAC How Darling (LE, $16.00) is slightly cooler-toned. Chanel Radieuse (217) (LE, $34.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Dreaminess (P, $22.00) is lighter, cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I actually hated these the first time I tried them--it looked like I'd tried to paint my lips with chalk. But now I'm wondering if the tester I used was just really dried out…when I tried it again at Sephora the other day for the heck of it, I really loved it! Very smooth and long-lasting. And it's a great pink shade--bright but not obnoxiously so.

I love this color! Not sure why all the bad reviews on Peony but it is such a wearable everyday color. Im definitely more of a nudes/light pinks lipstick chooser (haha) so this is perfect. These are nothing like those horrible Anastasia liquid lipsticks, yuck! Those are so drying for me, while these are very hydrating in my opinion.
