ColourPop Pegacorn Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “deep violet in a satin finish.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and lighter pink and fuchsia micro-shimmer. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which is intense on most skin tones as-is, but if you want truly opaque coverage, it needs a few layers to build up to that. The texture has a slightly more emollient consistency than a lot of the other cheek shades (closer to the highlighter/pearlized finish feel), and it seemed a little harder to get even color when applied to the skin. The shimmer is hard to detect once applied as well. On me, it wore well for nine hours. Clinique Berry Pop (03) (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer. NARS Coeur Battant (LE, $30.00) is less shimmery, darker, more pigmented. ColourPop More, Please (LE, $8.00) is less shimmery, lighter. ColourPop Pie (P, $8.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer. ColourPop Prenup Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “mid-tone plum pink in a satin finish.” It’s a muted, medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and a lighter pink shimmer. It had good color coverage that was fully opaque when applied with fingertips and semi-sheer when applied with a brush. The texture was lightly creamy with slight slip, but it wasn’t wet or thick, so it was easily blended out. It wore well for eight hours on me. ColourPop Mochi (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, cooler. MAC Sweet Sentiment (LE, $27.00) is darker. MAC I’m a Lover (P, $23.50) is lighter. Tarte Flush (P, $26.00) is less shimmery, lighter. Dior Rose (001) (LE, $56.00) is lighter. Dior Rose (001) (LE, $56.00) is lighter. Dior My Lady (002) (LE, $60.00) is less shimmery, lighter. Tarte Whimsy (LE, $26.00) is less shimmery, warmer. Urban Decay Blush (P, ) is less shimmery, brighter. Givenchy It-Girl Purple (P, $44.00) is less shimmery, lighter, brighter. theBalm Down Boy (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, cooler. Tarte Dollface (P, $26.00) is brighter. NYX English Rose (P, $15.00) is darker. MAC Well Dressed (P, $21.00) is lighter, brighter. MAC Pink Tea (LE, $21.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

ColourPop Quarters Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “mid-tone dusty coral in a satin finish.” It’s a muted, medium orange with a hint of brown and a subtle, golden satin shimmer that gives it a very, very soft sheen. It was intensely pigmented when used with a dense blush brush or fingertips, and a duo fiber brush yielded semi-sheer to semi-opaque coverage (depending on how heavy handed you are). The texture was smooth and velvety with just enough slip to make getting color out of it easy, but it doesn’t over-apply or feel heavy on the skin. It wore well for nine hours on me before fading. NARS Liberte (, $30.00) is more shimmery, darker. NARS Gilda (P, $30.00) is more shimmery, darker. MAC Early Morning (LE, $27.00) is darker, brighter. MAC Fiery Impact (LE, $25.00) is more shimmery. ColourPop Get Leid (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, lighter. ColourPop Tasty (P, $8.00) is more shimmery, lighter, more muted. Tarte Fame (LE, $26.00) is lighter. ColourPop Bonus (P, $8.00) is lighter, brighter. ColourPop Tonic (P, $8.00) is darker, brighter. Guerlain Petrouchka #9 (LE, ) is less shimmery, darker, brighter. NARS Exumas (P, $39.00) is less shimmery. Makeup Geek Summer Fling (P, $9.99) is less shimmery, lighter. Make Up For Ever #420 HD Blush (P, $26.00) is darker, glossier. theBalm Swiss Dot (P, $22.00) is darker, brighter. NYX Cinnamon (P, $5.00) is darker, brighter. Prenup is soooooo nice. It’s my favorite one. If you are fair to light I couldn’t recommend it more. It’s a “grown up” pink. I had Pegacorn on my list and at the last minute I swapped it for More, Please and I ain’t mad. More, Please is awesome and still easy to use for being so pigmented.

Omg all of those blushes in the first pics made my heart flutter! I have a few of these and some of the highlighters and I LOVE them, they are so flattering and pretty and also good for my wallet. Love your reviews 🙂

All are so pretty, I have such a hard time deciding which one to pick. I don’t mind that Pegacorn starts semi-opaque since it’s such an intense color. I was eyeing Pre-nup, but passed because I have enough pinky plum blushes. I was eyeing 5 orange blushes and finally ordered Tonic, it’s a really bright one!

Hi Christine,
Do you think prenup will show up on an NC40 skintone? I really want it but I’m afraid it won’t show up :/

I bought Pegacorn for the name, and despite being a very fair-skinned person. Applied like you did in your photo, really lightly, it’s such a gorgeous color and one I would not have thought I could have worn! I’m so happy colors like this are available for $8 so we can experiment.

Christine, have you ever owned Nars Penny Lane? I wanted to find a dupe for it but I couldn’t find it in the dupe list(I was counting on colour pop having something similar). Anyway, I love prenup it’s a gorgeous shade.

Oh, am I happy, no thrilled, that I ordered Quarters!!! It is just orange enough without what I fear most from orange blushes: the sallow effect. Also, Prenup is really pretty too! Something I’d use in wintertime.

Love Prenup. I really want Pegacorn, for the name as well as the color. I’m glad it goes on a bit sheer , actually. Easier for us pale girls. I like the gold shimmer in Quarters; it looks so pretty on the skin.

Oh, BTW, I received Jellyfish. Holy pigmentation, Batman! I have to be careful with it, but it’s so gorgeous, it’s worth it.
