ColourPop Just a Glitch Palette Review & Swatches
Just a Glitch
ColourPop Just a Glitch 5-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($10.00 for 0.15 oz.) includes two matte shades with three shimmer shades. The shimmery shades had a drier feel to them that made them harder to apply to bare skin, so this palette would be ideal for someone who tends to use eyeshadow primer and prefers to use fingertips/wet brush for application.

Dial Up
Dial Up is a pale white with a blue-green duochrome shift that gave it a frosted finish. The texture was slightly drier and more loosely-pressed, which resulted in sheerer coverage and light fallout during application. I’d recommend using it with a fingertip or a dampened brush to help it apply better. It had semi-opaque coverage that faded visibly after seven hours of wear.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Take a Byte
Take a Byte is a light lavender with subtle, cool undertones and a frosted finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage with a slightly drier, denser consistency that felt thicker. The texture made it harder to apply evenly to bare skin. This shade stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.

T9
T9 is a brighter, deeper lavender with cool undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, smooth, and substantial with light powderiness that was mostly confined to the pan. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and blended out well. There were signs of wear after eight hours.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing." The way the Pressed Pigments differ is that they're not intended for usage on the immediate eye area.
The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blend out fairly well, and can sometimes be a bit drier/more powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear eight to nine hours on me before fading, but many shades in the Pressed Pigment family leave some staining behind.

Chat Room
Chat Room is a lighter, minty green with subtle, cool undertones and slightly warmer, green-gold shimmer. It had a thicker, clumpier consistency that was hard to apply evenly to bare skin with a dry brush. It was easiest to work with using a dampened brush, which helped to spread and thin the formula out while giving a more even, opaque result. It lasted for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.

HTML is a bright, darker blue-based aqua with a matte finish. It had rich color coverage paired with a soft, smooth consistency that was blendable and lightly powdery in the pan but not prone to fallout during application. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

The color story is certainly a breath of fresh air! Like, literally. It is a beautiful little palette that I think would be fun to use, yet I know that I probably can dupe it.
I completely agree Nancy, and I’m pleasantly surprised at how well the matte purple performs. The shimmers could be a little better, but as Christine noted, they should be ok with primer. I don’t think I have any close dupes of any of these shades.
This is a pretty pastel little palette that would be perfect for summer days.
Hi Christine,
I really miss you showing us options on how to wear eyeshadow palettes. I am hoping you will return to doing that soon!
Stay well,
Felicia
This cute little palette screams “Spring is Here!!!” to me. Do you know if the pans are glued in or are they on magnets?
I love the colors! I feel like I might be able to dupe it though. Guess we’ll find out!
This is such a pretty color story! I think I will try to dupe it.
I think this is a pretty little palette. The mattes are surprisingly good.
