ColourPop I Heart This, Jam Sesh, Trust Me Lippie Stix Reviews & Swatches
I Heart This
ColourPop I Heart This Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark raspberry pink with subtle, cool undertones and a satin sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly across my lips, but there was some product that sank into my deeper lip lines. Luckily, it wasn’t enough that it was noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The consistency was lightweight, lightly creamy but a bit firmer and denser in the tube. It wore well for six hours, left a fuchsia stain behind, and was neither drying nor hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.0352 oz. - $198.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full coverage" with a "long-wearing, ultra comfortable" feel. Because there are quite a few finishes in the range, some of the results depend more on the finish.
The matte finish tends to be thinner, drier, and firmer in the tube, and they can, occasionally, tug on my lips noticeably during application, but usually have good pigmentation and long wear; they range from non-drying to somewhat drying.
The Creme finish has a creamier, more emollient quality to it that has excellent pigmentation, comfortable wear, and good wear time (four to six hours); it tends to be a little hydrating but occasionally suffers from issues where product gathers in lip lines or they don't go on as evenly as they could. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Jam Sesh
ColourPop Jam Sesh Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a bright, medium red with cooler undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly to my lips in a single stroke. The texture was lightweight, thin without being clingy, and had just enough slip that it didn’t tug during application. It stayed on nicely for over six hours, left a fuchsia stain behind, and was neither drying nor hydrating over time.

Trust Me
ColourPop Trust Me Matte X Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a medium red with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in one stroke, while the texture was velvety and smooth with effortless glide, but it didn’t feel slippery or emollient. The color applied evenly for the most part, but I felt like it was more prone to emphasizing my natural texture (despite having little in the way of imperfections by the time I swatched this shade!). The color lasted well for six hours, left a fuchsia stain behind, and was non-drying over time.

Formula Overview
$6.00/0.0352 oz. - $170.45 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "full-coverage" with a "super matte" finish that has a "lightweight and velvety feel." I'd agree with all of those things--most shades were opaque while a few were more semi-opaque to mostly opaque. The texture has a silicone-heavy feel to it, so it has the velvety slip that used to be more typical of face primers than lip products, but this silicone-heavy type of formula has made its way into lip products to give a more matte finish with a smoother, more velvety consistency. The consistency feels a bit denser, though it remains lightweight, and usually delivers even coverage in a single stroke that doesn't tug. The formula wears anywhere from four to eight hours on me, and it is typically neither drying nor hydrating. There's a soft, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Thankfully, I do have dupes of this trio of shades. I say this because while I absolutely love it when reds stain the lips, I am no fan of the stain turning fuchsia! Pinkish red stains I can cope with, but true blue-pink fuchsia? No.
Jam Sesh looks amazing! I’m so glad temptalia provides dupes Christine bc I already have Bite Beauty Tannin and Shiseido Ruby Copper.
This range has been so good, I do like Jam Sesh the best.
Trust Me is my HG red! It goes absolutely fabulous with my tan olive skin (NC44). There is nothing out there similar to Colourpop Matte X. It is ultra matte, but comfortable. The pigmentation is something that no other brand can duplicate (at least for my pigmented lippies).
