ColourPop Heavy Hitter Pressed Powder Shadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Heavy Hitter
ColourPop Heavy Hitter Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($18.00 for 0.20 oz.) is a more muted, warm-toned, neutral set of shades. All four shades performed well and were fairly easy to use, had good pigmentation, and lasted seven to eight hours on me.
Heavy Hitter
LELimited Edition. $18.00.
Full-Zip
Full-Zip is a very light beige with warm, yellow undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to opaque coverage with just a touch more layered on top. The consistency was incredibly soft, finely-milled, and almost cream-like, but it did have some excess product that kicked up in the pan. The eyeshadow wore well for seven and a half hours on me.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

PiPPermanent in Palette. $4.50.
Ringer
Ringer is a brighter, light-medium, golden copper with warm, orange undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. The texture was slightly chunky, which gave it a more textured appearance applied to the skin–I’d actually be more inclined to use with a slightly dampened brush for better results–so it took some work to press and work the color onto the lid so that it appeared very smooth. It had good pigmentation, though, and wore well for eight hours.

Side Tracked
Side Tracked is a slightly muted, medium-dark orange-bronw with warm undertones and flecks of gold sparkle over a matte finish. The bits of sparkle really did not appear noticeably on the lid, as they blended away and what remained was the matte brown. The base color was very pigmented, and it had a smooth, silky texture that wasn’t powdery or dusty, but it was still easy to blend. It lasted for eight hours on me.

Top Notch
Top Notch is a dark, reddish brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin, and the edges diffused easily while the color did not fade or lose its intensity when blended out. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth to the touch. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

I got Side Tracked and Top Notch, both are great quality, but mine are noticeably more orange looking, hoping I can pull them off
I hope you can, Katherine!
These warm toned neutrals are right up my alley! I’m also impressed with the opacity of those swatches, as the Colourpop shadows I have tried in the past tended to be a bit sheerer.
Some of their shades are better than others – a little less consistency in the powder formula, IMO!
I love these colors together! One day, I’m going to have to try their new powder stuff. The shadows and compacts have been look amazing. Especially for the price!
They create a nice look together!
This is the one I was most interested in/excited for!!
I really like this! And I can think of a few cohesive looks!!
Awesome 😀
Too warm for me but pretty.
It is a very warm-toned palette!
Full-Zip goes on my list since it appears to be a close dupe to ABH Tempera, on which I recently hit pan. While I have dupes for the others (considering I have ABH Mod. Renaissance), I may still pick this up as more convenient for travel; at Colourpop prices, why not.
Worth trying for sure if you’re a big fan of Tempera!
Waiting for mine to come in the mail. I’m excited to see what else they come out with for Spring and Summer!
Can’t wait for you to get yours, Paulina!
The colours are pretty average and dupeable for the price I wouldn’t be able to resist either!
They are affordable!
A very orangey – caramel quad there, pretty good ratings too.
Yes, definitely a warmer, more orangey palette!
A nice quad. It seems to contain everythin one would need for a short vacation, though after going on a 3 week vacation once with only one eyeshadow palette I guess I’d have to bring at least some other colours. It’s really easy to get bored, I think.
I’m not about to order from CP at the moment, but it’s good to see they keep their products performing well.
It would be a great travel palette for exactly that reason!
These sure are great quality yet again! Next month, Ringer. Along with several others. Unless I find a hidden dupe in my stash somewhere!
ColourPop does it again!
Excitingly waiting for my two first orders I got Mama’s Apple Pie with soft nudes, pink and peachy colors and Studio 1400 has a gorgeous emerald green, also some peach and two darker colors a burgundy and a bronze. The Phase Four set also looks beautiful for pale, cool skin like myself. So tempted to get it also.
I love Studio 1400! 😀 Such a great “quad.”
I love these shades! I need to give their powder shadows a try.
They’re worth trying if you like ColourPop!
I really enjoy this palette. It definitely fits in with the sand phase theme. Ringer applies beautifully for me, it’s the star of the show! However, the Side Tracked in mine seems very shimmery for a “matte” shade, odd that they would classify something with visible glitter a matte. I like it nonetheless.
