Hard is a medium-dark, rusty brown with warm, red undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, velvety consistency that wasn't too firmly or too loosely pressed in the pan, which made it a cinch to work with on the lid. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading slightly on my lid.
