ColourPop Sage Bundle Jelly Much Shadow ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) has a light, pinky-beige base with blue-to-teal shifting sparkle and pearl. It had semi-sheer color coverage in a single layer, so it worked better as a layering shade/highlighter than a standalone eyeshadow–definitely not the “intense” coverage marketed. It’s a shame that so many brands seem to be afraid to specify that certain products are sheer!
The texture was watery, cool-to-the-touch, and thin with a lightweight feel and fast dry-down on my skin. It applied best with a fluffy, synthetic brush for smaller areas and a fingertip for all-over-the-lid application. I found a flat, synthetic brush was prone to pushing the sparkles around, which resulted in an uneven application. It wore nicely for 10 hours with a touch of fallout over time.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "high impact" in a "single swipe" that's longwearing, "won't crease, fade or transfer" and "dries down to a powder finish with zero fall out." These are water-based, so they feel wet and cooling when initially applied, but the reality is that so little product is needed to get coverage on the lid that I didn't feel it was watery or thin when I actually patted it onto my lid with a brush.
I would recommend using less than you think you'll need, and while fingertips can be used to apply, I liked the control of flat, synthetic brushes gave me as fingertips (for me!) applied far more product than needed. If you over-apply, it can feel wet and take longer to dry down, and it ends up taking too long and can pull into creases/fine lines on the lid. If I used about what I needed (there was some wiggle room), it dried down quickly and set to a transfer-resistant/crease-resistant finish. It was harder to blend out once dry, though, and if I wasn't careful, more vigorous blending could disturb and cause the eyeshadow to flake slightly.
They are easier to use than they look, and I think they're quite good overall, though a couple of shades were less stellar. They have a high-shine finish, though I think the more metallic powder and cream eyeshadows give a similar look that I wasn't convinced that the finish on these was above and beyond products that might be easier to use/more user-friendly. I'm not sure that the pot was the best way to go, as the product dries out extremely quickly; to the point where I would advise closing the product after you've taken product out of it, don't let it sit open while you're applying the rest of your makeup--you will see and feel parts of it dry out.
I found the packaging to be rather messy, and I have bits of product along the edge of the jar, along the rim, and it's fiddly to move the stopper from the opening to the lid and back again. I wonder if a squeeze tube might be less messy and make it easier to control the amount of product picked up while also preventing the product from drying out too readily.
WARNING: This formula seems to dry out within months; some readers report a couple of months and others more like a six-month window. I don't keep the majority of cream-based products (since I don't return to most products after reviewing), including these, but of the few I still have, there is a definite change in consistency--slightly drier--after six months, sometimes more or less. ColourPop Saguaro Jelly Much Shadow ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark coral base (that leaned slightly pink) with peachy-gold sparkle and micro-sparkle throughout. It had an intense, bright and sparkling finish that wasn’t as even in thickness when applied to my lid, though from afar, I don’t think it was noticeable.
It had good color payoff in a single layer, which was a nice surprise as recent launches in this formula have been sheerer (when they’re intended to be pigmented). The consistency felt watery and cooler to the touch, and the product felt lightweight and thin when applied to my skin. It dried down quickly and lasted for 10 hours with just a touch of fallout.

ColourPop She Grown Jelly Much Shadow ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) has a deeper, strawberry pink base with moderate warm undertones paired with flecks of gold and pink sparkle. The eyeshadow had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and set to a transfer- and crease-resistant finish.
It had a cooler, watery consistency that felt wet as it went onto my skin, but it quickly dried down and set with just enough time to work with it. ColourPop Desert Days Jelly Much Shadow ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium-dark pink base that leaned slightly warmer paired with flecks of gold, pink, and violet pearl and larger micro-sparkle. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which could be built up if a second layer was applied over the first after it had dried down.
The texture was watery and very cool to the touch, but it was jelly-like in the pot itself. The product worked best applied with a fingertip or a flat, firm synthetic brush and patted/pressed into place rather than swept on. I’d recommend using a fluffy, synthetic brush to diffuse the edges as the product dries down to soften the edge. It stayed on well for 10 hours with only a touch of fallout over time.

Saguaro, Sage Bundle and Desert Days look gorgeous. But guess what; again, I have dupes. Although, I do wonder if Fenty Tini Kini would still be safe to use. Got it at least a few years ago.
I’m sure it escaped no one that each of these shades has a CP dupe in the top 1 or 2. Sometimes even in the jelly much formula. ColourPop fatigue, anyone? Some products tag themselves as having ‘something for everyone.’ CP has a minimum of five similar things for everyone. I do realize this is an ‘overstashed’ and not a newbie issue.
These shades are really popular, but I personally would find this formula harder to use than just a conventional eyeshadow. I think these are good for the ‘one and done’ days of summer.
