ColourPop Duet Palette Review & Swatches
Duet
ColourPop Duet 5-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($10.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a new, warm-toned neutral palette that leaned copper. It contained three “matte” eyeshadows (two had definite sparkles on top) and two shimmers. The formula was consistent with these types of finishes from the brand, but there was definitely fallout to contend with during application.
This palette is one of five in a holiday vault, though ColourPop said they would be available individually when I asked, but they have not appeared individually on the site. It’s not realistic for me to review it as a set (takes much longer, but I also started testing them across sets already, and the system is better setup for a palette, not five palettes within a set, for readability!), so I decided to review them individually still.

Twosome
Twosome is a light, peachy copper with moderate, warm undertones and a frosted finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable color payoff paired with a slightly drier, more loosely-pressed consistency. I’d recommend using a fingertip or a dampened brush with this shade. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Paired
Paired is a dusty, darker peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish with faint sparkle over top. The consistency as smooth, more velvety, and blendable with light powderiness but not a tendency to sheer out. There sparkles did not bind well with the rest of the powder, so there was light fallout during application. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Ensemble
Ensemble is a medium red with warmer undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had a smooth, moderately firm press to it, but there was still light fallout from the amount of sparkle throughout the powder. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on well for eight hours with slight fallout over time.

Opera
Opera is a rich, medium-dark coppery-brown with flecks of gold sparkle over a matte finish. The underlying eyeshadow was quite pigmented, but there were flecks of sparkle that disappeared or dropped during application. I didn’t find many adhered to my skin during application, so fallout over time wasn’t an issue. The texture was smooth, blendable but somewhat powdery to work with. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Vocals
Vocals is a deep, slightly muted, copper with warm, red undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a moderately-dense, slightly firmer feel, though by no means stiff or difficult to blend out. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

A few years ago, I would have likely snatched this one up. But now that I have ND Bronze and Sunrise Midi palettes, plus a bunch of other same color family as many of these CP Vault series of palettes run in, namely; coppers, bronzes, reds, peaches, warm browns.
This monochrome does seem similar to a couple of the others we have seen recently and definitely like many of the shades living in CP’s 9 pans.
