ColourPop Bronze Me Super Shock Cheek
ColourPop Bronze Me Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “warm bronze in a matte finish.” It’s a medium-dark brown with warm, orange undertones and a satin finish–there’s a light sheen and very, very fine shimmer. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, blendable consistency that sat well on the skin and played well with bare skin as well as liquid foundation. This shade wore well for eight and a half hours before fading. Stila Sending My Love Bronzer (LE, ) is less shimmery (95% similar). MAC Firebrush (LE, $28.00) is lighter (90% similar). ColourPop Flush’d Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “rusty deepened peach in a matte finish.” It’s a medium-dark, orange-coral with hints of warm, red undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage that was fairly blendable but one of the less easily blended-out shades that I’ve tried in the formula. It’s best patted on with fingertips and lightly swept with the side of the finger for blending, but it didn’t apply well with a stippling brush for me. It wore for eight hours. Sydney Grace Thinking of You (P, $9.00) is cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Retro (LE, $10.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). ColourPop Glo Up Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “rich gold with flashes of golden copper.” It’s a muted, medium-dark bronze with warm, copper undertones and a frosted, golden sheen. There was something in it that was almost mauve-like applied. It had good pigmentation with a soft, lightly emollient consistency that was smooth and easily blended on the skin. The shimmer didn’t emphasize pores. This shade wore well for eight hours on me. Bobbi Brown Bronze (P, $46.00) is darker (95% similar). Not really my colors — too warm!
Totally see that!
All three look very pretty!
They do!
None of these would work for me, way too warm but its not all about me. They look quite nice.
Hopefully they’ll have some cooler-toned ones soon 🙂
I want them all!
At least at this price, it’s doable, lol!
Love the look of Flush’d! I have Get Leid and it looks similar though less orange and more peach toned.
Yep, Get Leid is definitely in the same range!
Out of the 3, I am really loving Glo Up! Flush’d also looks good, because it’s less intense applied than many other bright shades that CP offers. I like the softness of it. But Glo Up is a must for me!?
Glo Up I liked a lot, but I think between that and Santos, I still favor Santos!
Bronze Me and Glo Up are too warm for me, but they are SO gorgeous! I also like Flush’d blush, but I have CP Tonic, and while it’s not an exact dupe, I don’t think there’s enough difference on my cheeks to justify buying it.
They are pretty! Glo Up is nice – shimmery but not metallic!
I love the color of Flush’d. The other two items are pretty, but way to dark for the likes of me.
I could see Flush’d being beautiful on you!
You know my love of coral blushes!
Everything is perfect! These colors totally match my skin tone!
Yay!
Hi Christine! I have a Colour Pop highlighter and blush. How do you apply them? Should it be used over foundation then powder or can you put powder on your face then use the blush/ highlighter?
I’ve used them over liquid foundation with no problems, as well as over my setting powder! I usually apply the blushes with fingertips or MAC’s 134.
Hey, love your swatches and try ons! Would you say this is too identical to the Colourpop Blush in the shade “Quarters”? Would there be enough differences to buy both or should I just save an additional $8 and buy something else?
