ColourPop Aglow, Ice Breaker, Outer Space, Crystal Crush Creme Liners Reviews & Swatches
Aglow
ColourPop Aglow Crème Gel Liner ($7.00 for 0.007 oz.) is a bright, light-medium green with a cooler undertone and warmer, golden pearl that gave it a “warmer” feel overall.
- Semi-sheer coverage, hard to build up
- Creamy, smooth, comfortable to work with
- Did not apply evenly
- Long-wearing (8.5 hours) but not 18-hour wear

- Urban Decay Kush (P, $22.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar).
- Urban Decay Freak (P, $22.00) is cooler (90% similar).
- ColourPop Black Flame Candle (LE, $7.00) is less shimmery, darker (80% similar).
- Fenty Beauty Lime Feva (LE, ) is less shimmery, lighter (80% similar).
Formula Overview
$7.00/0.007 oz. - $1000.00 Per Ounce
The updated formula is supposed to have "18-hour" wear that is waterproof and be "super pigmented" for both the lash line as well as the waterline. The brand stated that the formula will set "after around 10 seconds." Many shades had semi-opaque to opaque, buildable coverage, but some shades had uneven, sheerer coverage that did not layer well, so they were more challenging to apply and to use.
The majority of shades were creamy enough to glide across the lash line without tugging or pulling, though a few shades were stiffer, more prone to breaking or dragging.
The formula seemed water-resistant based on testing with water, but the wear was more like 10 to 13 hours (depending on the shade) rather than 18 hours of solid wear. A lot of the shimmer shades lasted four to six hours on the waterline, while more matte shades tended to last five to seven hours on my waterline. These are long-wearing times for a pencil eyeliner, generally, but they are a fair bit short of the 18-hours claimed so a lot of shades rated lower than they might seem if you aren't a stickler for 18-hour wear!

Ice Breaker and Crystal Crush are just right for summertime. Very refreshing and icy in tone!
I do love Outer Space, but still have some deep navy pencils around that I use from time to time.
Not sure what happened with Aglow…. yikes.
Hmm – these seem a bit of mish-mash of quality, some OK and some awful. Outer Space is an interesting shade.
Crystal Crush is really pretty, it’s not for me, but I do love the look of it.
I put Outer Space on my WL, I don’t have anything like it and would get a lot of use for it. However I do need to use up at least five eye liners to allow myself to buy one new. I don’t know how I have managed to collect so many liners.
