ColourPop A Go Go & Chimichanga Just a Tint Lippie Tints Reviews & Swatches
A Go Go
ColourPop A Go Go Just a Tint Lippie Tint ($7.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a brighter, medium plum with moderate, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had medium coverage in a single layer, which was buildable to semi-opaque pigmentation with two to three passes. The consistency was lightly creamy, lightweight, and thin without being clingy; it definitely felt like a balm, but it glided on without feeling too waxy or too wet. The color went no evenly and stayed out of my lip lines. It wore well for four hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$7.00/0.07 oz. - $100.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as "the perfection sheer wash of colour in the comfiest, lightweight, super moisturizing formula." Here's the big takeaway... they are not that sheer; they're not a wash of color. They have medium to semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a few shades being more true medium in coverage; I just wouldn't say they're sheer nor just a wash. That medium to semi-opaque level of coverage still allows for some translucency, which gives the color a lighter look that's more like a stain.
The texture was creamy, thin, lightweight, and balm-like; I'd actually say it felt like a gel-like balm because it had the cushion-like slip of a lip balm but had the smoothing prowess of more gel-based formulas. The most impressive aspect of the formula was how little the colors sank into my lip lines and how forgiving they were with imperfections in lip texture. The wear time varied from two and a half to four hours on me, and the formula was lightly hydrating over time. They have a sweet, fruity scent (passionfruit per their website) but no discernible taste.

Chimichanga
ColourPop Chimichanga Just a Tint Lippie Tint ($7.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark coral-red with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had medium pigmentation that was buildable to semi-opaque coverage with two passes. The texture was lightweight, creamy without being too wet or too emollient, so it glided across my lips with ease but had good adhesion while offering comfort. The color applied evenly and didn’t emphasize my lip lines. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours, left a very faint stain behind, and was moisturizing while worn.

Even though A Go Go is the quintessential perfect shade of rose, it’s actually Chimichanga that has to win out for me! I would have tried to order it for the Convention, but I don’t think it would get here before Friday, so I’ll wait. Frankly, I didn’t realize till now how good that would have looked with Friday’s dress!
I think I need to figure out how to colour tune my monitor because the description for A Go Go says it is a plum but it looks coral to me and the description for Chimichanga says it is a coral and it looks more plum to me!! Both are pretty shades, though, LOL!!
I have these already but I haven’t used these particular shades yet – tomorrow can’t come soon enough, LOL!
Haha! 😉
I do have Z Boys on today – I’m really embracing sheer lips at the moment and I find these really hydrating, I bought the entire range on a whim and I don’t regret it, even a little bit! 😀
They’re really nice! I think they should bump these up to more of a “medium” coverage product, ’cause I think sheer is downplaying the coverage in general (though I think medium coverage is perfect – you can take it down a bit or build up a little, more versatile)… so then the ratings would reflect the product’s quality better, haha.
These are such pretty, juicy shades.
I do like Chimichanga…
