Lisa Eldridge Painterly Luxuriously Lucent Lip Colour ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, medium plum with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and thin (but not clingy), which made it easy to apply in a fluid stroke as it did not tug on my lips.
The product applied evenly with semi-sheer to medium, buildable pigmentation, though it wasn't the most forgiving texture for lip imperfections (like dryness, flaking, etc.). I always exfoliate my lips prior to swatching lip products, but I had to exfoliate a second time to be particularly thorough or else the formula caught and gathered around imperfections noticeably. This color was slightly more forgiving compared to others in the range, though. It lasted well for three hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.
