Coloured Raine Rose Garden 6-Pan Pressed Pigment Palette ($16.00 for 0.32 oz.) signaled the brand’s return to eyeshadow with a six-pan palette that included three shimmer shades and three matte shades. The formulas were decent, though I did not think they worked as well together as the shimmers were noticeably thicker and more emollient compared to the mattes, which were on the thinner and slightly drier side.

2022 Formula: The formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented" and "blendable" with a "butterly smooth" feel.The majority of the matte eyeshadows were quite pigmented, while some of the shimmers were overly emollient, which resulted in sheerer and/or uneven coverage.
The matte eyeshadows have a bit of dryness to them, though they were pigmented and fairly blendable, but they tended to apply best over an eyeshadow primer, which ensured a better base for them to adhere to. The shimmer eyeshadows were best applied with fingertips or a flat, firm (and sometimes dampened) brush and pressed/patted into place, then lightly blended.
I did not love the two finishes paired together as the matte finish was thinner and more powdery compared to the thicker, denser shimmers, so the shimmers often "erased" the matte eyeshadows when blended out.
The formula was different than the brand's original single pan formula that they originally debuted with, and I preferred their original formula overall, though the new one is decent, just not as foolproof to work with.

Hmm – not quite sure how this colour story works and the quality isn’t quite up to Coloured Raine’s previous standards. Bronze Rose is a winner shade for me.
Between this and the ND Pastel Mini palette, I don’t know which one looks the most discombobulated and odd looking! Not much of a fan of either.
