In a Pinch is a bright, medium orange with balanced, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out nicely along the edges. It had a soft, lightly powdery consistency that sheered out slightly as I blended it out, but it could be built back up with little difficulty. It wore well for seven and a half hours before I noticed fading.
