Clionadh Cosmetics Glimmer, Candela, Flicker Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches
Glimmer
Clionadh Glimmer Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($7.75 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base with a lot of sparkling shimmer that shifted from bright, icy blue to purplish-blue to warmer, pinky-lavender paired with a more sparkling sheen. Per the brand, it is supposed to shift from “blue-indigo-violet.” The shift was definitely apparent in person with little contortion necessary to detect–I could clearly see it going from really cool, lighter blue to warmer lavender.
The brand noted that this particular shade should be applied like their Glitter Multichromes: that they should be applied with fingertips or a wet brush, patted on the lid, and that they are “more delicate.” I found all of these to be true; the more sparkly texture felt thinner and more emollient compared to other shades in the formula, but I noticed that a brush was very quick to pick up product so a lighter hand was better to avoid over-loading one’s brush. If I wasn’t careful to use a lighter hand, there was light to moderate fallout during application–to that end, I’d also suggest using pressing/patting motions for initial application of the product.
It had semi-opaque color coverage that read more “opaque” when applied as it was very reflective and shiny with twinkling sparkle. The product applied more smoothly and evenly when used with a fingertip or a flatter, dampened brush over a dry brush as well. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours with light fallout over time.

Formula Overview
$8.50/0.05 oz. - $170.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "nearly transparent base" so they can be used on all skin tones (despite appearing white in the pan), and they "can be used on eyes, lips, face and body." While other Multichromes may require more specific application or technique, the brand says that this formula can be used "the same way you would" apply any "highlight or shadow."
The consistency has a denser, smoother feel that wasn't too firm, so I had no trouble picking up product with eyeshadow or highlighter brushes (without having to wet the brush). The product applied evenly, had semi-opaque to opaque, buildable coverage, and was blendable. Some of the shades with larger shimmer/sparkle had light fallout during application. They wore between eight and nine hours on me before fading a bit.
I found that the shift wasn't as dramatic between the three described color shifts per shade (some more so than others), but they did have a dramatic shift between at least two shades.
I tried a few shades as cheek highlighters, and they applied well on cheeks and diffused readily along the edges without emphasizing my skin's natural texture. They wore between eight and nine hours as cheek highlighters as well.

Candela
Clionadh Candela Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($7.75 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base packed full of fine, intense metallic shimmer with a multichrome finish that shifted from more of a barely-there, almost pink-tinged tone to brighter chartreuse to deeper, warmer gold. Per the brand, it is supposed to shift from “gold-lime-turquoise.” I didn’t really detect the “turquoise” shift that much – I felt like it was very subtle, sort of giving the green tone a slightly cooler appearance than when it was more golden.
The consistency was smooth to the touch, dense without being heavy or too firmly-pressed into the pan, so it picked up well with a dry brush and had great adhesion to bare skin. It blended out with ease, had opaque color coverage, and stayed on well for nine hours before fading visibly.

Flicker
Clionadh Flicker Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($7.75 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent base packed full of fine, intense metallic shimmer with a multichrome finish that shifted from gold to pink-peach to warmer peach. Per the brand, it is supposed to shift from “orange-peach-gold.” I’d say it was more like a warmer peach than orange–it just seemed to light of a shade to be orange to my eye.
The shift was present in person, but as the spectrum was narrower, it looked like a warmer and cooler take on peachy gold overall–more like a very strong duochrome. It had a soft, smooth consistency that had a touch of fallout when I worked with it, so I’d recommend patting and pressing it into place to avoid it. The color coverage was opaque in a single layer, which adhered evenly and diffused well along the edges. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Beautiful tonal shades to complement other colours. This is a really good brand.
Candela is gorgeous!
Jaw-dropping AWE. Seriously!
Candela is the showstopper here; WOW! It looks positively molton. What type of metallic element I don’t know, just that it does.
Wow. I wish these weren’t so dang expensive!! But I get it.
<3 Candela <3
After reading all of the reviews, I'll put in an order for some of these eye shadows. Candela will absolutely be mine. It is a secretive, mysterious, light shimmery colour. Generally I don't think secretive and mysterious when it comes to light eye shadows, but this one is, in my eyes, I just hope it'll be all that on my eyes as well.
