Clinique Pink Honey Pop Cheek Pop Review, Photos, Swatches
Pink Honey Pop
Clinique Pink Honey Pop Cheek Pop Blush ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a soft, light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was very smooth and dense in the pan, while on the skin, it was incredibly blendable and almost creamy in the way it sat and diffused on the skin.
It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage that applied easily, as it blended out nicely along the edges. The finish was more satiny than truly luminous–it seemed to have less sheen than most of the Cheek Pops–but looked good on the skin as it did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. This shade wore well for nine hours on me before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Is this a new shade of cheek pop ? Will there be more new shades ? TIA
There are two new shades, this and Black Honey.
Ooohh! These may be must-haves!
Finally, I’m excited about a new release.
Hi Christine , do you know if these new shades will be USA only or will they be available in the UK ? 🙂
No idea, unfortunately!
this is sooo pretty!
It is!
UGH. I love these. There goes more of my money. ?
Awww!
Would this show up on tan skin?
It might, but I’d go for a darker shade to be sure myself!
So black honey would be safer?
Yes!
Thanks for the review! The color shown on the Sephora website is really different. I really like the shade as shown here.
No problem, Melissa!
I love the way that blends into your skin! I have another one of these, and they just fade after a few hours, so I’ve stopped using mine 🙁
Oh no! 🙁
Oh pretty! So brightening! I love colors like these, as they make me look like I got 10 hours of sleep
Haha! That is always a nice effect!
What fantastic shade it is 🙂
I need to see the tarte foundation as well ….
seems like your favourite these days
Tarte’s new foundation is my new fave!
I’m loving it!
Yay!
I love Clinique cheek pops but this color looks like 3 colors in that line lol. Maybe the other colors will actually be new and different from what they have!
It’s definitely not substantially different from other shades in the line!
This new color is so pretty. You look so nice !
I hope to see that released in Europe (we never got the chance to get the last 4 shades released)
Thank you, Marie-Estelle!
I’m definitely checking this one out — a warm pinker shade is rare. I have fig pop and it’s ok, but not quite right, a little too dark or something; and peach pop swatched too orange. So this could work.
Fingers crossed this one might be better!
I’ll have to check this shade out in store. This looks like a nuder version of Melon Pop
I hope you like it! 🙂
Oooh, that’s really pretty and fair skin friendly. I’m glad Clinque keeps adding to the line.
Me too! 🙂
Very soft, pretty shade! Might be a smidge too light on me, I fear. Although I do get away with wearing MAC Spring Flock.
It might be, Nancy! It could either be bright enough or end up getting lost. Tough call!
I like this, already have 2 dupes though ?.
Money saved 😀
omg new cheek pops new cheek pops
🙂
This is a great shade that is not too pinky, more of a coral colour from what I can tell in the photos. It looks beautiful on you Christine and I think would suit a lot of complexions too.
Thank you, Genevieve!
Oh – the color looks entirely different on the Sephora website! : (
On the Clinique site it shows one of the new colors as Pink Pop!? Oh shoot! I don’t like the other ones I purchased but I think I have to have this one – ridiculous but true.
I think Pink Pop is old!
Yes, I agree but on the Clinique site it had ‘new’ beside it. Maybe it’s changed by now? I’ll look : )
On the drop down for the colors is says NEW pink pop? Oh well. : )
I bought mine in 2015 🙂 Hope that helps!

Ohhhhh LOL : )
Pretty but seems more spring/summer season. I only own Clinique Cola Pop and I’m enjoying it!
Perfect. Was sad when the previous MUG spellbound got dc’d. Now I can pick this up.
Oooooh how exciting!!! Very pretty and I can’t wait to see black honey!!!!
A pretty one!
woooh!! you reviewed it!! finally the review I’ve been waiting for!! I like this better than the Rosy Pop which I ended up giving to my sister. Will definitely get this (well after these holiday craze tho or will wait for the sale, so I can hoard the other shades)
Thanks as always Christine!!
This looks like my perfect kind of colour!
The finish looks beautiful on this one. Alas, I have GA Daybreak (I wanted to type NARS.. confused.. I think they have a daybreak too… nope daydream!) and MUG spellbound.
This is gorgeous! It really does look like it blends seamlessly.
This is so pretty! I’m not really into true pink blushes but this one is just calling to me. I can’t wait to see the Black Honey one too.
Where can I purchase the new Clinique Pink Honey Cheek Pop? I have checked Nordstrom’s, Sephora’s and Clinique’s websites and don’t find it as yet. Any idea when it will be available?
It’s linked at the beginning of the post (first words in the post!) – I bought mine at Sephora!
gosh, this one looks way better than the picture on the website. i guess i should have ordered this one instead of black honey haha
Aww!
This looks quite pretty, and I really like the Cheek Pops, but the colour feels more *spring* to me so it’s not getting me too excited lol. Plus I have sooooo many pinky-coral blushes already. I look forward to the Black Honey review, though!
This is this product on Sephora – would you look at the difference in colors? Does yours look more like the color than the one on Sephora? http://www.sephora.com/cheek-pop-P384996?skuId=1859743
Sephora’s photos look really off to me – Cola Pop is the darkest shade in the range!
That is what I thought! No way that picture on Sephora can be Pink Honey Pop.
I have melon pop and was going to buy nude pop – now I’m seeing this new one!
How is pink honey different?
