Clinique Pink Pop Cheek Pop Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Pink Pop
Clinique Pink Pop Cheek Pop Blush ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a soft, medium rosy pink with very subtle cool, blue undertones and a luminous sheen. It’s almost neutral, but it leans a little cool-toned against my warmer skin tone.
The texture of this shade was soft, smooth, and incredibly blendable on the skin. It had excellent color payoff that can be sheered out or built-up for true-to-pan color. I’m so pleased to be able to report that thus far the new shades are measuring up to the original four that were released in formula. I think a lot of the magic in the formula is the finish: a satiny, luminous sheen that gives skin a natural radiance while making skin appear smoother, as it never emphasizes pores. On me, Pink Pop lasted for nine hours on me before fading.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

I need this one! I love these colors for looking fresh and more awake especially during days where I’m feeling a little tired.
It’s such a lovely spring shade!
So pretty! How do I not have any of the pop blushes yet?! I must have been living under a rock! I love the finish..it’s perfect and the price is awesome, wear time is too. I am so happy these are permanent. I see these all in my future!
They’re such an amazing formula! The finish is spectacular – luminous without being frosted at all!
Oh, I can see what you mean by a subtle, luminous sheen. So much more refined than the NARs Dual Intensity. The color is so pretty and versatile. I just can’t decide which one to get!
I love that there is nothing to the application – no fussing to make sure it is just right – it never goes overboard!
Ooooh this shade makes me so happy. I finally got my first Cheek Pops a couple of months ago (because I finally got to see the spouse, and he’s my make-up mule basically). I’m in love and I’m not even a blush person usually! So so so happy about the expansion, and super thankful knowing that you’d review them all on the blog. Thank you! <3
Aww!! So glad you’ve gotten to try! 😀 Which is your favorite?
I got Peach Pop and Plum Pop, and I honestly can’t decide which one I like better! I have a feeling I’d wear Peach Pop more, though, as it’s one of those shades that work with everything for me. 😀
This shade is gorgeous, cannot wait to get a hold of it!
It is lovely!
You look like your ready for Spring Miss Lady!
😀
So excited for this!! All the original shades were too warm for me, so I’m looking to pick up at least one of the new ones if they’re a better match. Any thoughts on how this compares to Illamasqua Naked Rose?
I think Naked Rose is more neutral, and I’m pretty sure it’s matte! Rosier with less cool tones.
thank you!
Another lovely one. Even though it’s cool, it still looks beautiful on you.
Thank you, Rachel! 😀
I simply need this one!
It’s a gorg spring shade!
What a gorgeous color!
Agreed!
Absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to see the rest of the new shades. I wear either Peach or Berry pop every single day and I would love a neutral in the same formula. Definitely going to pick up some more.
I’m hoping Heather/Fig run neutral-ish, too!
I have the same shades and love them too. A neutral would be nice
.
it looks adorable!
Yay!
That settles it. I need this!
Enjoy 😀
The new colors seem so soft and feminine. Perfect for spring!
I think the way the finish is on the formula helps them look soft, too!
I love this! It’s such a wearable shade for my fair skin.
It will be for sure!
I’m keeping everything crossed with you! I want to throw my money at Clinique for all six new shades! Thank god these aren’t like $35 blushes. 🙂
Hahaha! 😉
Wow, I love it and I loved the lavender one. Let us know if they hit Sephora or dept stores!
Will do! 🙂 I’ll try to reach out to Clinique again to see if they can shed more insight!
I was checking out your reviews and swatches of the other colors, and I liked how you have a big smile in each photo – like, yeah, this is good stuff. I might have to pick one up since they consistently get great reviews.
They’re just so ridiculously easy to apply. There’s no fuss, and it’s so refreshing when things are just easy to use!
Christine, how would you say these Clinique blushes compare to the It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Stains?
They’re not as intense, the texture is firmer (not in a bad way, just a descriptor!). The IT ones last longer.
What a pretty shade! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
I picked up 3 out of 4 original shades and I have a feeling I will be adding 2-3 more as soon as these new shades become available!
My pleasure, Sara! Here’s hoping they come back in stock soon!
This looks so pretty!! I think it would make a perfect everyday blush for me…I will probably buy this once I’m finally out of Benefit’s Bella Bamba, which I adore, but I get bored, & always want to find something even better …I think this could be it!When I saw the initial picture, it looked very peachy to me, so I would have never even considered this without your review, so thank you!
No prob, Julie! I’m the same way – even when I find a really great product, I am always on the hunt for the next best thing!
This is oh so pretty! I can’t wait to pick this up 🙂
It’s such a nice spring hue!
I have a feeling this is going to be my new staple blush. A beautiful cool-toned pink with a sheen? Yes please!
Woohoo! 😀
Pretty! So fresh and light.
Definitely!
I just need this urgently. Yesterday was the lavender. Now is this gorgeous pink. The way things are going, I am sure I will have to reserve space for another 6 blushes in my drawer. (one winking smiley face and 6 smiley face)
They’re so pretty thus far! 🙂
Very pretty! I’m sure this will be a favorite of a lot of people! I can’t wait to see the heather one swatched. It looks like the perfect shade for people with redness problems!
I hope Fig & Heather ship soon!
And here I was calling 5 different Sephora/Ultas to see if they have this in stock. Oops.
I really hope they launch elsewhere stat!
The shade is right my alley – not too bright, not too muted. And the daisy imprint is so cute!
Awesome to hear!
Your enthusiasm for these made me smile, Christine. 🙂 It’s lovely to read. I’m waiting for the right shade to splurge on one of those. I’m eagerly waiting the rest of your reviews!
I’m sooo happy they’re performing well so far!
This one looks amazing too!! I asked Sephora on their facebook page if they’d be carrying these and when they’d be in stock; they confirmed they’ll sell all the new shades, but gave their release date as “within the next few weeks.” Guess we’ll all just have to drool over the pictures of swatches for a little while! 🙁
Well, confirmation is better than nothing, lol!
So .. pretty!! The color looks great on you!
Monica.
Thanks, Monica!
I cannot stop wearing the 3 I already have (Peach, Ginger, Berry) and now I NEED to get my hands on this one! The Cheek Pops have easily become my go to blushes. Thanks for another great review!
My pleasure, Marnie!
This is a beautiful color! I have ‘Stay Pretty’, like it but don’t wear it that often because it’s so matte. This might be the perfect answer to that problem 🙂
YES! I think it would be.
Yet another beautiful shade! This one looks nice on you too. I wish I could buy them all 🙂
They’re hard to resist!
So cute and such a pretty shade on you! And an A+, wow!
The formula is SO good!
After your last cheek pop review, (pansy pop) I knew I wanted to try some of these! I went to my local Macy’s clinique counter hoping to pick up some of the new shades, but alas – they only had the original four. I was so disappointed! But I ended up taking home Peach Pop anyway, not wanting to leave empty handed, and also wanting to try out this formula before the new shades hit the counters! Can’t wait!
Here’s hoping they roll them out soon!
I really want to try one of the cheek pops. Which would you recommend for me? I wear C4 in studio fix powder.
Berry Pop for something cooler, Peach Pop for something warmer.
Going on my wishlist!
Yay!
Hi Christine, how does this Clinique Pink Pop Blush compared to theBalm Instain Argyle? I love this Clinique Pink Pop but afraid that the color will be too similar with theBalm Instain Argyle..
Argyle is brighter and more matte, but the colors are similar.
So pretty!!
It is!
It’s strange that I didn’t buy any of the ones that came last spring. I think I may have to get this one, it’s so very pretty.
I hope you can try them!
Is this a cream blush?
It’s a powder.
