Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Pillow Talk
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk 12-Pan Eye Palette ($75.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette featuring an assortment of warm-toned neutrals and pops of pink. The formula was consistent with past 12-pan palettes–much better in performance compared to the original quads in my experience–and was pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing, though a few shades had room for minor improvement. The brand’s mattes tend to swatch deeper than they appear, so the palette was a bit more versatile and deeper in practice than it appeared initially.

Pillow Talk Day Eyes (Prime)
Pillow Talk Day Eyes (Prime) is a light gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a metallic finish. The consistency was soft, lightly creamy, and dense without being thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Pillow Talk Dream Eyes (Prime) is a medium red with warmer undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture was more emollient–a little too emollient in my experience–with a very smooth, cream-powder feel to it. I felt a dry brush pushed the product around a bit, so I had to be more careful to press it on and gently blend the edges. It stayed on well for eight hours before I noticed faint fading.

There isn’t a single colour in here that I even like. For those who love these shades, I’m sure it’s a wonderful palette but for me, it’s an easy “no”.
Again, I am glad this performed well but there are just too many shadows here that I either wouldn’t use of are too similar to other shades I already own so I won’t be getting this. Frankly, since I don’t have a CT counter nearby, I pretty much only buy her lipsticks.
Whilst this isn’t my kind of palette, I think it has been well done. The shimmer and matte shades had both decent pigmentation and depth to them. It is quite a cohesive palette and one of CT’s better ones.
Debating whether to buy this or the Pillow Talk quad, as this palette is quite the investment. From the first two trios you can kind of get the same look as in the quad, though I prefer the Day Smoke shade than the pink in the Original Pillow Talk quad. Absolutely love the Smoke in the Date look, I think it would look beautiful on green eyes. Don’t really care for Dream trio.
Are any of these pressed pigments ?
Deja Vu all over again… having another “uh oh!, No! No!” moment with myself because I love this palette far more than I would like to! Looks like the Pillow Talk craze finally got me. However, I don’t believe that I need this to get the vibe. I still have Sugarpill Feline Fancy quad, plus many similar such shades scattered around my consortium of eyeshadow singles and palettes. May I talk myself out of this one successfully!
Reminds me very much of Naked Heat which I own and rarely iuse. Despite the great reviews, I will.
pass bc they are not my colors.
I bought this palette and I think that the colors are far more orange than they look in the pan. Too orange for me unfortunately.
Warm, warmer, warmest, red? …… No thanks. Glad it got good reviews for the peeps who love these shades.
I’m quite liking this, pretty shades and I’m a total novice at eyeshadows so the layout in four different looks is very helpful for me. Unfortunately, Charlotte Tilbury is not sold in Australia so I can’t swatch and it’s $120 AUD for the palette so I probably won’t buy it.
Hi Christine, I just wanted to know where you got the 0.31 oz number from?? I’m debating on getting this palette, but the amount per pan is kind of a dealbreaker for me if it’s really 0.02 oz per shadow/0.24 oz total.
So sorry! I didn’t even check to ensure the weight was the same as the last palette released. “Stars In Your Eyes’ was 0.31 oz. I’m so sorry for causing you confusion and having you have to waste your time with this comment! I really should have caught that.
Don’t worry, it’s just confusing, especially with how Sephora.com is marketing the weight of this palette. They are writing “3 x 0.24 oz/ 7 g” for every single quadrant! So which is it, CT/Sephora?
The packaging only has net weight at 0.24 oz., so I would defer to the packaging!
