Ray is a light-medium gold with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was soft without being powdery. The texture was one of the most luxurious ones I've encountered in eyeshadow; if every shimmer shade was like this, the palette would be hard to resist. It lasted for just over eight and a hal fhours on me before it started to fade.
