Charlotte Tilbury Kim K.W. Lipstick
Charlotte Tilbury Kim K.W. Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, pinky beige with warm undertones and a creamy, natural sheen. This shade is part of the original Kissing formula, so it is much creamier, a little weightier, and has more slip than the Matte Revolution range. It was also hydrating and more comfortable to wear over time, though this particular shade ended up applying somewhat streaky due to the amount of slip and the lighter color. It had semi-opaque coverage that did well into my lip lines over time. On me, it lasted for three and a half hours. Chanel Destination (174) (P, $42.00) is less shimmery, darker (95% similar). MAC MCizzle (LE, $20.00) is lighter (90% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Sonic Truth (244) (P, $30.00) is darker (95% similar). Jaclyn Cosmetics As If (DC, $18.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Abigail (LE, $36.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Estee Lauder Oblivious (P, $32.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Weirdo (DC, $18.00) is darker (90% similar). Bobbi Brown Pale Mauve (DC, $37.00) is darker (90% similar). Charlotte Tilbury Kidman’s Kiss Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, pinky-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It is part of the Matte Revolution formula. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, which is in line with the formula, that goes on without tugging on the lips but tended to emphasize every imperfection on my lips. The color also pulled into lip lines noticeably after two hours of wear, while the lipstick lasted closer to four hours overall. I found it neither drying nor hydrating. Givenchy Nude Cachemire (101) (P, $37.00) is darker (95% similar). ColourPop Adults Only (LE, $8.00) is less shimmery, lighter (95% similar). Make Up For Ever C106 (DC, $22.00) is darker, warmer, glossier (95% similar). Clinique Heavenly (08) (P, $19.50) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Bite Beauty Honeycrisp (P, $24.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). Guerlain Fresh Coral (309) (P, $39.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop Penny Pincher (LE, $9.00) is darker, less glossy (90% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Isla (LE, $36.00) is glossier (90% similar). Dior Grege 1947 (169) (P, $35.00) is glossier (90% similar). Burberry Clementine (261) (P, $34.00) is more shimmery, warmer, glossier (85% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. Charlotte Tilbury Super Cindy Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had medium, buildable coverage that applied easily without dragging or skipping on the lips. The texture had some slip, and as a result, it wasn’t as matte as some shades in the Matte Revolution range, but it was more comfortable to wear and lightly hydrating after the three hours it lasted. Estee Lauder Dreamlike (904) (P, $32.00) is less shimmery, cooler, glossier (95% similar). YSL Rosewood Beat (161) (P, $38.00) is less shimmery, cooler (95% similar). FORMULA OVERVIEW | Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) has two variations–the original, Kissing, and the matte, Matte Revolution, both of which are featured in the Hot Lips collection. The Kissing formula is supposed to be pigmented and luminous, while also being hydrating, while the Matte Revolution formula is designed to be matte, buildable, hydrating, and long-wearing in a matte finish. The Kissing range is creamier, light-medium in weight, comfortable and hydrating, and average wearing (three to five hours with most shades). The Matte Revolution formula feels velvety, thinner and somewhat clingy (I find that they can sometimes emphasize the texture of my lips or highlight imperfections), wear four to six hours, and are drying to lightly hydrating. Both formulas have a sweet, vanilla scent with no discernible taste.

Yeah, I wasn’t too impressed when I saw some of the initial swatches for the lighter shades in this range -they looked cakey, uneven, and/or settled into lip lines. I know lighter shades are harder to get right, but at this price point, it has to look at least decent.
They are hard to do, in general, and they don’t seem to have gone that far here!
Yes!!! These are the shades I was most interested in.
The Kim K.W. shade is disappointing due to the sliding into lip lines for this price point.
But I have dupes in Donut, Beloved, and Weirdo.
Yay for dupes 😀
Yes, I would like to get into Charlotte Tilbury products but it’s a bit to rich price wise for me at the moment. 😉
I’m really liking Super Cindy and I didn’t think I would when I originally saw the collection.
Yay! 🙂
It’s funny but I dislike the shape of the “bullets” of these lipsticks so much that even if they were readily available where I am and even if they cost less, I honestly don’t think I would buy them. I don’t know what it is but I just really react negatively to the look of the lipstick bullet.
Ah, well, money saved, I guess? 😉
Really liking how Super Cindy and Kidman’s Kiss look on you! And I would definitely get Kidman’s Kiss except that what you described, the pooling into lip crevices, is precisely why MAC The Fashion Flock failed so miserably on me. And that’s one of its dupes, ironically! ?
Aww 🙁
Kim KW is just perfect for me. I do have two of the dupes which I also like (they are similar, but warmer), so I definitely love this one that bit more for it’s pull more to neutral and I like the staying power and opacity of the CT on me as well.
Nice! I wonder if a good liner will help that one apply/sit better.
Wow Super Cindy looks so pretty! Kim’s lipstick is way too deathly for me but the texture looks very nice too.
Super Cindy seems to be the easier one to wear of the three for me!
I’m not in love with these shades. Super Cindy is pretty.
They’re not my favorites, either!
Charlotte Tilbury makes some of the best nude lipsticks out there. I recently purchased Kim KW, and though it is quite pale, is beautiful on warm complexions. This is my fifth CT lipstick, and I appreciate the new squared off tip (similar to the original matte formula design) which makes application more precise.
I love the KISSING lipstick formulation, so much that I use these almost exclusively in my daily rotation! I find them comfortable, long wearing, and not drying at all.
Happy to hear you’re enjoying yours!
It might be a bit light for my complexion, but Super Cindy is probably my favorite here. And it looks gorgeous on you!
Thanks, Chris!
Nope – these lipsticks look thick and fudgey, with all three colours looking very similar to each other. The shades themselves don’t seem to be able to enhance a variety of complexions. Big miss for me.
Aw, bummer!
Not very good results for over $30.00 per tube. The first color is much too chalky for my taste also. Complete pass.
Totally understand, Susan!
I love the concept of this range and the colours look amazing. I haven’t heard great things about the formula though..
These shades aren’t for me but I appreciate those types of shades on others. Kim KW looked cooler initially and with better coverage.
My bf likes the kim shade.
Awesome!
