Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Superstar Glow Highlighter Review & Swatches
Hollywood
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Superstar Glow Highlighter ($55.00 for 0.40 oz.) is a light, pink-peach base with fine, golden pearl throughout that gave it a luminous, glowing finish.
It had good color coverage in a single layer, which was buildable to full coverage with a second layer paired with a soft, lightly creamy consistency that was plush and easy to pick up with a brush. There weren’t a whole lot of claims made on the cached version of the product listing I could find–just that it was buildable. The powder applied evenly to bare skin and blended out nicely without emphasizing my skin’s natural texture. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
It’s a new, limited edition–and oversized–highlighter for the holiday season. It sold through quickly but, oddly, Sephora actually took the whole product page down; mine arrived broken but they weren’t able to ship me a replacement (so I was refunded). I would imagine it will return, but I don’t have any specific information on that–likely later this month when the eye palette launches, perhaps?

It’s a very pretty highlighter and on my wishlist. I’m delighted to see the pink/peach lean in a CT powder highlighter.
Far more refined, in all senses of the word than I expected. Nice.
Hi Christine, do you have a tool for comparing highlighters? I see the one for palettes, but not for blushes/highlighters
Right on this page there is “Compare Any Two.”
Ahh ?♀️ I am here everyday and somehow always misses it
No problem!! It is on all review pages at the very least. Can be easier/harder to miss depending on device and how fast you’re scrolling!
This is exactly the type of highlighter I would use often. Perfect for everyday use, I believe. It went on the “list”!
I think this was a rouge early access item for one day only and that it’s going to be launching officially next month! I missed out on the early access but I was told it will be back for the official launch.
I’m not sure – all the other items that were early access (that I recall) were available the next day for everyone else to purchase.
It’s unfortunate the highlighter smashed! Hope you can replace it if you’re so inclined. Weirdly, it actually makes for a pretty awesome photo. Like how some brands use photos of smashed-up products for their marketing.
This is a beautiful highlighter. Something else for my wish list.
Do you find that Charlotte tilbury compacts are typically this fragile or was this just a shipping issue?
I don’t keep track of what has/hasn’t broken, to be honest, and my memory is pretty terrible… so I really don’t know? Like it’s not standing out to me, but I could be just remembering wrong.
Mine also came shattered. I still gave it a shot and I really enjoy the more refined formulation, since many of her other highlighters are normally baked. The shade is very nice and buildable !
Glad to hear you’re enjoying yours, Mannie! Sorry to hear it came broken, though.
