Deep (4)

Charlotte Tilbury Deep (4) Airbrush Bronzer ($55.00 for 0.56 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish-brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, and it built up well, though it was a challenge to diffuse and blend out as the product had a tendency to adhere wherever it was initially applied and then deepen unevenly from there.

The latter is something I’ve had trouble with when working with very matte powders applied over bare skin or unset foundation. I was able to resolve the color deepening unevenly by applying to over powdered skin, but the blending didn’t get significantly better. I could see visible clumps of powder that almost balled up as I tried to blend and work the product onto my skin. It eventually ended up in lifting away base product when used over foundation.

The texture was finely-milled but dry, almost papery when I put my finger against the surface, and it accentuated my natural skin texture and fine lines. The color stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

I have this bronzer in medium and it has quickly become a holy grail product for me. I’m about an NC 20 and it gives me just the right amount of color but is buildable. I have combo skin (oily in the t-zone and normal/dry elsewhere) and don’t have a problem with it accentuating the dry areas. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it blended in. As people in other comments sections have noted, a lot of You Tube vloggers gave this high marks and I would have to agree with them. If you’re on the fence, and need a bronzer, it’s worth checking out.

Wow! I’m shocked by this rating. Christine I wonder if there could be a batch issue? I have this bronzer in Deep (I’m Fenty 420) and I LOVE it. Blends so easily! I don’t feel like I have to do any work and it looks so beautiful on my skin! If you were interested, I would still give it a try.

I have the new “Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer in Deep” & I love it. Its amazing only thing issue I had was a little bit of kickback but the color is beautiful. Reminds me of Fenty’s Mocha Mami. Becca Maui Nights Bronzer may be a little red/warmer.
