Velouria is a muted, medium-dark mauve with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The texture was finely-milled, silky-smooth, and a smidgen powdery in the pan, though it applied evenly and maintained its opaque coverage, so it wasn't prone to sheering out too readily. The eyeshadow blended out well along the edges and seemed to darken slightly while appearing a bit warmer-toned as well. It stayed on well for nine hours before fading a bit.
