Chanel Tweed Beige (140) Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Duo Review & Swatches
Tweed Beige (140)
Chanel Tweed Beige (140) Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect ($45.00 for 0.19 oz.) is a soft, peachy-brown base with fine, golden pearl and larger copper flecks of micro-sparkle. It had a drier consistency that didn’t feel particularly finely-milled or silky to the touch, which was unexpected based on my experience with Chanel’s powder products, but it applied beautifully–I was caught off guard by just how nice it looked applied. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to opaque (two to three layers) that sat smoothly on my skin, blended out easily, and lasted for a good eight hours on me.

My golly gosh! That is a beautiful blush – a lovely peach without the orange undertones. It looks beautiful on you – in fact your whole look is beautiful Christine.
Would be beautiful with your colouring!
Agree!
This is a stunning blush. It’s nude, but the lovely sheen and copper sparkles give it that little bit extra.
It’s hard to judge, because everything looks good on you, but that does look genuinely multidimensional. Cool!
These have always been rather nice. Chanel can be so hit/miss with powder products.
I like your earrings!
This is quite beautiful! Can you tell if the copper/gold flecks in it are an over spray or go through it?
It has gold shimmer that runs through the powder as far as I can tell – it doesn’t retain the sharpness of the design after one or two uses – but the swatch, application, and testing are after removing a few layers of product.
Thanks Christine it looks so pretty on you!
I had my eye on this and the large spring palette. After your reviews, I’ve now ordered both. (Essentially free with Optimum points in Canada) I trust your opinions, and your photos and appreciate all the work you do for us all. I love Chanel makeup and just needed the Temptalia seal of approval to add these to my little collection.
Pretty do you think this would work for NW50/55 with neutral undertones?
My guess is you might get a subtle highlighter out of it, but I can’t imagine it adding color!
That looks so lovely on you, Christine – really stunning – but it’s way too warm and brown for me (just as well since I can’t try Chanel in person any more). Is the gold an over-spray or is it all the way through the pan?
There is gold shimmer throughout; as always, the swatch and product applied are after removing as much of the over spray as possible (with a separate brush – one where I all I use it for is to get rid of the first few layers).
Oh my, I am going to need to try this beauty one to see if it can work with my coloring and actually show up on my cheeks. This blush really looks amazing considering your description of how it’s dryer and doesn’t have Chanel’s usual “feel” to it.
This blush is so beautiful on you, Christine! I already have Nude Pop so I will pass on this one, but it suits you so well.
hi christine! is this a LE item?
Chanel doesn’t list it as LE! I don’t have any other info than what they have on their website.
I just bought this blush; it’s gorgeous!
That pan design tho…..
Hmm. This looks gorgeous on you, but I’m worried it will lean orange or muddy on me!
The blush is definitely a standout piece, as reflected in your look, Christine. Glad to hear some sparkles remain part of the shade after the overlay is removed.
Hi Christine,
You look lovely! Are you wearing a highlighter in the photos or is the blush that shimmery?
Just the blush! In the review of a product, it will just be that product on unless otherwise noted – e.g. a lipstick review, there will be no primer, lip liner, etc. just the lipstick.
