We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Vastness (mauvish liquid eyeshadow) reminds me of a discontinued Eyes to Kill that I have, which is a taupish rose (forgot the number), and possibly the current Armani liquid eyeshadow Rose Ashes. I could be wrong, but they seem to be in the same family. I’ll be curious to see the rating for it. As for the quads, they’re a bit too warm for me and would look ho-hum boring to no-just-no on my eyes. Oh well, what’s new? Chanel, couldn’t you have made one of the quads a little cooler? As in throw some of us cool-toned ladies a bone once in awhile? Warm everything, all.the.time. I must sound like Nancy Kerrigan, “Why? Why?”

After seeing testers, I pre-ordered Warm Memories, Eclat du Desert highlighter (it’s powdery; I’m okay with it but some might not be), and liquid eyeshadows in Quartz Rose and Vasteness. It’s a lovely collection for Spring.

Christine, I noticed a typo in the word Eclat. ?

I have the highlighter and a nail polish that just came in but I decided to pick up the Elemental quad also. I saw on the YouTube that the highlighter is quite powdery but I’ve used mine and I did not notice that (BUT I use a light hand for my highlight). It gives the most subtle, beautiful sheen! I’m very happy I purchased it.

I feel like I’ve seen the shades in the quads before and Elemental reminds me of Blurry Mauve, which I own– two of the shades seem quite close. The liquid shadows are appealing. I actually still have a purplish taupe liquid shadow from Chanel a few years back. Desert Wind is my favorite but not sure if the way it sheers out would do that much, though it’s pretty as a liner in its un-sheered application.
