Chanel Paradisio (645) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “pearly pale green.” It’s a very light, warm white with a green-ish tint and metallic shimmer. It had some visible brush strokes, and it had semi-opaque color coverage. I wish it applied more evenly, and it’s a polish that might be better with three coats, though it has a medium-thick consistency so I don’t know about the wear/feel of three coats. Dior Pampille (192) (LE, $24.00) is sheerer. Tom Ford Beauty Vapour (LE, $30.00) is whiter. Essie Absolutely Shore (LE, $8.00) is less shimmery. Butter London Fiver (P, $15.00) is less shimmery, darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Chanel Tenderly (641) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “purple rosewood.” It’s a muted, medium-dark plummy mauve with warm undertones and a cream-jelly finish. It had mostly opaque pigmentation after two coats, and it dried down to a naturally shiny finish without the need of a top coat. It was easy to apply and self-leveled. Zoya Odette (P, $9.00) is lighter. Formula X Perfection (P, $12.50) is grayer. NARS Manosque (LE, $20.00) is darker. China Glaze Below Deck (LE, $7.50) is darker, cooler-toned. Zoya Jana (P, $9.00) is darker, cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Chanel Desirio (643) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as an “intense magenta.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark berry-pink with a cream finish. It had almost opaque coverage after a single coat, but I used two in swatches to be sure. It dried down to a high-shine finish and was incredibly easy to apply. Chanel Coup de Coeur (P, $27.00) is more muted, warmer. Formula X A+ (P, $12.50) is brighter. MAC Toco Toucan (LE, $16.00) is brighter, cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I’m kinda tired of all of the reds and fuchsias in polish. Yup. I chose the Paradisio, and even wore it for Christmas Day. I really like it. It is shimmery and light. It lasts long without chipping– two coats, which I find to be true with all of my Chanel polishes!

i loved paradiso i apply the butter london base coat ehh i think the one called foundation that takes care of VNL. Do your first coat of Paradiso thicker and then the last one thinner I manage no streaks and opaqueness .

I really like Tenderly. I have to take a closer look at it when i launches here. If I can get Zoya, I think I’d like Odette a lot, and buy it instead. Lots cheaper too, I guess.
