Round-up: Chanel Collection Reverie Parisienne Overview & Thoughts
Chanel Collection Reverie Parisienne
The collection featured an assortment of pink and coral-toned shades, much in the way that one would expect for a spring-timed launch. I was disappointed with one of the star products of the launch (Jardin de Chanel), as the texture was stiffer, while the product itself could have been more pigmented as well. Crazy Fuchsia (194) (A) ended up being the only product I really liked (personally) in the collection, because it was a very pigmented gloss with little tackiness. I had higher hopes for both eyeshadow quads, but unfortunately, they were somewhat lacking in pigmentation.
You can see the full list of products/shades in the collection here, as I didn’t buy everything from the new collection.

This is a really beautiful collection overall but I also wish the blushes and quads were more pigmented. That would have really made this a home run. The lippies were quite nice though. I like the lipstick shades and the fuchsia gloss is stunning
Me too! It’s an okay collection, but there is room for improvement!
I have yet to test it out. The lip products mostly looked nice but I don’t have a huge lipstick wardrobe so there are some colors here that I don’t have. CF has my heart but I just got Pink Ruby so I’m not sure I can justify the $$$ spent on it. While not the same they are close enough 1/2 people probably couldn’t tell the difference on my lips. I’ll have to swatch it.
Pink Ruby is really bright, which is probably the biggest difference!
Crazy Fuchsia definitely looked like a winner! 😀 I liked the way the two matte lipsticks came out, colour wise, and I still like the way the sparkly pink shine lipstick (Etourdie?) looks in the tube, hah! It’s a shame about the blush, but I still feel like I’d only buy it to look at, anyway LOL! 😀
You wouldn’t wear the blush?!
I am just wondering… id there a new eyeliner in this collection, and what color is it?
I believe it’s gray – I don’t have it, sorry!
Nope – I did not see anything in the Chanel collection that I liked – too many pinks for me.
I purchased both blushes and both work for me. I am NW15….thank you for your reviews….PS, I also purchased the Dior Peach Splendor for Spring 2015. Will you be reviewing this as well?
Hi Christine!
Do you know if the blush is limited edition? Or is it one that will be available in the permanent range? Thanks!
Chanel lists it as permanent!
This is a pretty collection I liked a few lip colors here but wish the formula of the blushes had been better.. 🙂
