Chanel Perles de Lumiere Illuminating Blush Powder ($70.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a light, golden copper with warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had nearly opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, soft, and blendable texture.

It was a gel-powder hybrid formula, so the powder was denser and more firmly-pressed in the pan, but it looked seamless and “melted” when applied to bare skin (there was also no powderiness in the pan). You’ll want to use a slightly denser brush to pick up product if you’re not familiar with this type of formula. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Very Light, Pink undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

SOOO beautiful; so out of my grasp (I’d have to travel to another zone – we’re not supposed to do that because of our lockdown restrictions and also because of my highway terror) and so too warm for me. I had to smile seeing a Wet n Wild dupe with the same A rating as well as a Lancome one with an A+ rating. if I can find the Lancome one, I might buy it, though this is still too warm a shade for me, to be honest.

While a little too rich for my blood presently, I do really love how this one applies! It is perfection. I do still have my CP Butterfly Beach and DoC Miramé, so I’d say I’m set with similar shades. But I’d still love to get this one!
