Chanel Metal Peach Eclat Magnetique de Chanel Illuminating Powder Review & Swatches
Metal Peach
Chanel Metal Peach Illuminating Powder ($70.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a light-medium peach with balanced, warmer undertones between pink and orange. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, almost cream-powder feel to it–it felt silky to the touch, had a bit of slip, but it applied and performed more like a powder overall.
The highlighter sank and “melted” onto my skin as I buffed and blended out the powder on my cheeks, which ensured it never emphasized my skin’s natural texture. It wore well for nine hours before fading noticeably on me.

Oh my. I got the quad but skipped the highlighter because I have so many and they always perform at an A- or better, with few receptions. Still, so pretty.
Gah.
Perfect. This highlighter hits all the bases and ticks all the boxes. The only *bad* part is the timing with the Sephora Rouge sale descending tomorrow. Funds are already allotted towards that. We’ll see.
I do not need another highlighter….I do not need another highlighter….but this one is PEACH! And it got an A+…….
Wow, gorgeous.
this is gorgeous! but $70 is really steep for a highlighter
I love this shade and the intricate design on the surface of the blush/highlighter is beautiful. When looking at the dupe list, both Maybelline and Milani have very similar options for 80% less of the price for this Chanel one – $70 US is a lot to pay…
Hate to think how exorbitant it would be in Melbourne. It is glorious, but maybe you should scope out the dupes. This is at once stunning, refined, yet somehow universal. It would look great with your pale, cool coloring and Titian hair.
It’s pretty but it’s kinda pricey. I think I’ll hunt for the Milani dupe which scored almost as high a grade and costs a WHOLE lot less.
Gorgeous! I don’t need a new highlighter, I really don’t. Had I now moved from the city out to the countryside I might have gone and swatched this, and then I know I would have bought it if it. Maybe that’s why my low buy seems to work better after I moved.
Still, this is absolutely lovely. Tonight I will dream about Chanel, well, I can hope 🙂
Gorgeous highlighter, I got it a week ago but am struggling with which brush to use for it. What do you recommend?
I didn’t have any issues with brushes – I used a regular, tapered highlighting brush!
A beautiful highlighter in a gorgeous holiday collection. The button design is so elegant!
I was on the fence , the only department store I found it at was Nordstrom’s and it sold out overnight. It has reappeared only at Nordstrom’s have I found it so I didn’t hesitate to purchase this time . There are a lot of good dupes but this one I couldn’t let pass by
