Fleurs de Printemps

Chanel Fleurs de Printemps Blush and Higlighter Duo ($70.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new, limited edition highlighter and blush duo with a more gel-powder like formula, so both shades “melted” on my skin for a smooth, seamless finish that was glowing (for the highlighter) and skin-like (for the blush). Both shades had richer pigmentation, were blendable, and stayed on for eight and a half hours. I loved the two shades together as well (on a personal level), and I slipped it into my vanity drawer (hence the editor’s recommended tag!).

Fleurs de Printemps (Highlighter)

Fleurs de Printemps (Highlighter) is a medium, pink-peach with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, though it was easy to apply less if desired by using a lighter hand as it wasn’t powdery in the pan. The formula felt like a gel-powder hybrid, which works best with a moderately dense brush as it has a firmer, denser feel but has no powderiness and “melts” onto skin when applied.

The powder applied evenly to bare skin, blended out with ease, and had a glowing finish that didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture and looked particularly seamless. It wore well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.

Fleurs de Printemps (Blush)

Fleurs de Printemps (Blush) is a brighter, medium-dark coral with warmer, more orange undertones and a satin finish. The more I buffed and blended out the powder on my skin, the more satin-like the finish became–glowing but not overtly shimmery. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, but the firmer, denser consistency (though not stiff!) made it easy to use a lighter hand for more buildable coverage if preferred.

It had a more gel-powder hybrid kind of formula, which means that the texture feels firmer, but it has no powderiness and almost “melts” on skin for a particularly seamless look. The color applied evenly and blended out effortlessly. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Ever so pretty and almost “mood lifting” in this bleak time. Alas, too warm for me but at that price and since I can no longer just walk into a store and buy it, this is all a good thing but it sure is pretty to look at and it looks gorgeous on you, Christine!

Sooo pretty I just ordered it! You are right about the price but I passed on the blush at Christmas so I’m due. The Chanel pieces I have are such great quality.

I got the les beige foundation it’s so nice!

I did some thing out of character for me and I purchased this the moment it hit my favourite online store. My experience is exactly as you described. It’s absolutely beautiful. It melts into my skin in such away it looks like a natural flush with some glow from the highlighter. Even at $90 Cdn, it was a worthwhile and needed splurge.

I absolutely don’t need this, but man is it pretty… theres just something about Chanel blushes, this is so flattering… very tempting lol
