Chanel Flame (164) Rouge Coco Flash Lip Colour ($40.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy plum with warm undertones and a soft sheen with faint pearl. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that had moderate slip but was more substantial than other shades released in the collection. The product applied evenly, didn’t settle visibly into my lip lines, and lasted well for four hours while feeling moderately hydrating over time.

Chanel Dawn (158) Rouge Coco Flash Lip Colour ($40.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a medium-dark peach with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous sheen with faint pearl. It had semi-sheer pigmentation, which was buildable to medium coverage, that applied fairly evenly but settled a bit into my deeper lip lines. The consistency was moderately emollient, smooth, and comfortable to apply but felt thinner and was more prone to emphasizing lip texture. It wore decently for two hours and felt lightly moisturizing.

I’m sure you have at least one dupe, the list is quite long. Even I have a dupe, it’s toward the end, but still. It’s MAC Brick-O-La by the way. I think I must use it today, just because.
Helene, I just checked the Dupe List section where you can look up dupes you own, and I have 3! 😲 All darker than Flame, but that’s alright: MAC Natural Born Leader, Bite Jicama and CP Faded.

It’s too bad Dawn didn’t perform better. I really love the way it looks, but for Chanel prices, I’d like something with a longer wear time and no settling into lip lines.
Flame is gorgeous, but my goodness – what happened to Dawn – it looks awful.
