Chanel Coco Code Harmonie de Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Coco Code
Chanel Coco Code Harmonie de Blush ($70.00 for 0.38 oz.) is a soft, medium pink-coral with fine gold shimmer over a semi-matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage.
The Harmonie de Blush formula is described as a “multi-task[ing]” product that can be used for highlighting, bronzing, or blushing. There are four shades–a light, shimmery pink, peachy-brown, coral-red, and golden beige–that are easiest to use swirled together, though you can concentrate your blush more toward two of the four shades (vertically or horizontally) for more/less shimmer or color. The majority of the color comes from the coral-red, while most of the shimmer comes from the golden beige. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too powdery or too firm in the pan, so it was easy to apply to the skin. As I blended the blush out, it yielded a luminous sheen that wasn’t noticeably shimmery on the skin. This shade wore well for eight hours on me.

Yep, I’m safe. Pretty color but has perfume in it, so no-go for me, my sensitive cheeks can’t take that. Will save my money for the quad and maybe a lipstick
I wish Chanel would skip the fragrance for you!
For me too…for many more people than Chanel thinks, imo. I can usually tolerate the level of fragrance in Joues Contraste blushes but felt this product was the most heavily fragranced Chanel cheek product I’ve ever tried.
Well, no wonder I love this one SO much; MAC Spring Flock is a 90% dupe! And I DO wear Spring Flock with golden highlighters like MAC Whisper Of Gilt, or I’ll work some Shaft Of Gold into Spring Flock to up the overall golden peachy-coral effect.
Close enough 😉
Reminds me of Guerlain’s 4 Seasons 00 Nude bronzer. I always wished one of the brown quarters were a highlighter. I’ve hit major pan on mine, so might check the Chanel one out 😉
Keep us posted on if the Chanel one works for you, Raglo!
This is a nice one! Argg, Chanel got me yet again! <3
Aww!
I think that is so pretty.
I agree, Linda!
Thanks for this review! I was hesitant on whether or not to purchase it. I mean it looks very beautifully designed, but it is pricey and I hadn’t seen reviews for the product. However I’ve always trusted your opinions on products. I think I will buy this.
No problem, Sarah! I totally understand – it’s a lot for a single product, so you really want to make sure it’s worth it!
It’s pretty, but I kinda get annoyed by products which are mixed like this! Like I’ll try and grab a couple of the colors on my brush but for sure will pick up a bit of another color when I don’t want it, then I get upset at how ugly it looks when everything mixes, lol!
Haha! I can understand that. I feel like if you’re someone who likes fairly consistent color/application, something like this is annoying – because everything really hinges on how much of the reddish shade you get.
Chanel nearly always make excellent blushes and this one is no exception. I love the idea of swirling the shades together to use as a blush. It looks beautiful.
I’m really happy with the texture of this one, as it is what I’d expect of the brand!
I was really interested in this from the promo shots, but seeing it swatched. I dunno! I’m not loving it.
Money saved 😉
What a lovely blush 😉 I don’t think it’s one of CHANEL’s best designs but I can’t resist colours like these!
The color is nice!
This is really pretty. I like it a lot and think it would work really well with my skin tone. Going to check this out. Thanks Christine.
No problem, Deborah!
I’m so glad to see this well-reviewed! I just got mine yesterday, and quick PSA for very pale skin tones (like me…aka, Caspar). This quad also works really well as eyeshadow! I actually bought this for traveling, hoping to get a compact that can function as “all the things” and I’m really pleased. The shades individually are like sheer but buildable washes of color, and you can get a nice highlight/brow bone shade from the pearl shimmer, a crease color from the peach/tan, a lid wash from the golden beige, and a great outer corner shade from the red (it ends up looking like a lighter version of a look from ABH Modern Renaissance, really nice for pale skins). I can also contour with the crease/bronzing shade, so all in all, it’s a great value for $70 for a Chanel product.
Thanks so much for the tips, Aysel!
Can your eyes tolerate the fragrance?
Yes, I have experienced no problems with that, but I’m not that sensitive. I will say that the rose fragrance is very strong. I don’t mind it, but I know many others would.
I think a product like this would drive me a bit nuts — I’d always be wanting to use the colors individually, and it just doesn’t seem practical to do so!
If you used an eyeshadow brush, you could, but definitely not with a cheek/highlight brush!
I was eager to see your review of the Harmony Blush. I love these blushes and have been using last winter’s Harmony Blush quite a bit recently. Though I have the TF Afternooner and Hourglass Incandescent Electra, I’m still planning to swatch this at the counter. I didn’t buy Chanel’s Rouge Profound because I saw the red in this quad design and I liked the variety of shades.
Hello Christine – I’m trying to submit a copyright violation report, but the system seems to be out of order. What should I do?
Love your swatch here by the way.
Thanks.
I am loving it on you! Let’s see if I still have money? Haha!
Yay! Glad to see this performs so well.
Pretty but definitely not on my to buy list.
Well it looks nicer than I thought but might be a bit cumbersome to try to use the shades individually!
Very appealing. Nice color combination.
Very easy to wear!
too beautiful to resist it…
I bought the 2016 Spring Blush Sunkiss Ribbon, also very pretty. And I think Chanel’s spring collection is much better than it summer and fall collection.
