Chanel Alezane (260) Joues Contraste Blush Review & Swatches
Alezane (260)
Chanel Alezane (260) Joues Contraste Blush ($45.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a soft, medium-dark coral with moderate, warm undertones and fine, golden micro-sparkle over a satin finish. It had buildable coverage from high-medium to mostly opaque (two to three layers) with a soft, silky consistency that was finely-milled and easy to work with as the powder went on evenly and diffused well along the edges. It wore well for nine hours before fading slightly along the edges.

Formula Overview

The Joues Contraste formula is supposed to have “buildable coverage, from natural to dramatic” with a “flattering radiance” and “silky texture.” The pigmentation ranges from semi-sheer to fully opaque, depending on technique and skin tone, but it seemed exactly as described–buildable–without having to pile it on or spend too long sheering it out. The formula has an extremely smooth, silky consistency that blends out beautifully on the skin. Most shades wear around eight hours on me.
The formula is rose-scented but the scent was largely undetectable applied (but noticeable in the compact).

How is it that I’ve never given any real notice to this perfect blush before? Anywho, it turned my head today! And, I’ve decided that Alezane will become my 1st Chanel blush in all likelihood.
So beautiful – a gorgeous colour and a perfect finish on your face.
I love the shade of MAC stylish me and since you have mentioned that this is almost similar to the MAC one I am adding this to my make-up bag…Though this one is little costlier, but I cant resist the shade.. It’s total love..
It looks so much nicer on your face than I would have thought looking at it in the pan. Not a colour for me, though.
I had a wack of these Joues blushes which I donated. Watching these shades pop up again is filling me with nostalgia and a bit of regret. That’s the former makeup hoarder in me. I’ve moved on. It’s still a gorgeous blush!
This is the first time I’ve come across an alternate spelling of my name that I actually like! This is gorgeous. The color is too. ;P
I had the old one which I accidentally left in a hotel earlier this year and wasn’t going to replace but decided to as it is perfect for my color. I love how it is buildable too.
Mine doesn’t have that red background on the case though. I did get mine from Nordstrom.. hmmmm
LE packaging this time around 🙂
I have this and it is a fave. It looks very lovely.
Beautiful color on you! Gives a sunkissed look.
I bought this Chanel blush Alezane allready five years ago. And although I absolutely love this and my other Chanel blushes for their color and packaging, after approximately two times use there isn’t hardly any color payoff left. No matter which kind of brush I use, there doesn’t stem to come off product. Is that just me?
Maybe take a paper towel and gently rub the top layer off?
