Bobbi Brown In the Flow, Hot Streak, Freestyle Crushed Oil-Infused Glosses Reviews & Swatches
In the Flow
Bobbi Brown In the Flow Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss ($27.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a medium-dark reddish plum with subtle, warm undertones and a high-shine, glossy finish. I swear there was very, very shimmer that I could see in the swatch, but i didn’t really catch it on my lips. It had a smooth, more gel-like texture that was plush but still a little creamy, so it spread easily and was comfortable to wear. It had semi-sheer color coverage that went on fairly evenly, but there was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines. It stayed on well for four hours and was moisturizing over time.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to be "ultra-shiny" (it is) with a "cushiony, comfy feel" (nailed it) that has a "burst of color" (sheer to medium coverage) that is "ultra-hydrating." It has more of a smooth, gel-like texture, which is where it gets that "cushiony, comfy feel," and it spread easily over my lips and felt comfortable to wear.
There was a strong shine that lingered for two to three hours during wear with shades lasting, generally, between three and five hours overall (with reduced shine toward the end). Some shades had slight to light product that sank into my lip lines, but the higher-shine finish made that less noticeable in person. The formula felt hydrating over time, and they had a herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.

Hot Streak
Bobbi Brown Hot Streak Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss ($27.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a deep, red-coral with warm undertones and a high-shine, glossy finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation in a single layer, which went on fairly evenly (though my naturally uneven lip color made it appear less-even) and had some product that sank into my deeper lip lines. The gloss had a lightweight, non-sticky consistency that felt plush and gel-like with enough glide that it spread well, too. It lasted nicely for four hours and was hydrating while worn.

Really liking Freestyle and In The Flow a lot for springtime shades! Both look very easy to wear and Freestyle may not even been a mirror for reapplying while out and about.
All of these a gorgeous shades, particularly In The Flow
Can i ask a stupid question? What and why is there a Y and presumably other letters on the barrel of Flow? And not on the others? What is spelled? And why on one product? I always notice the odd thing out.
They’re part of a collab and are LE! I don’t really get why they all released simultaneously but that’s why!
Thanks. It is odd.
I really like all of these and could see myself picking a couple up. They have more pigmentation than I was expecting but appear very velvety and smooth.
I really love Freestyle.
