I would love to see clearer color and undertone descriptions, and I wish brands weren’t afraid to call something sheerer or more buildable! Opaque pigmentation isn’t always the best!
They could shoot in more natural light and brighter/studio light so that you get a better grasp of texture/sparkle. I’d also like to see less heavily edited swatches.

Somewhat! I find I need to remove any incentivized reviews, even though some might be trustworthy, and stick to those who are verified purchasers. I also look for reviews with at least a few sentences!
Ulta has the best rewards system, so if I can buy from there, that’s my preference, but their shipping is awful – slow-ish but poorly packaged.

In general, I do use them, but for beauty, I find it requires a lot of sifting and with beauty already being a more “your mileage may vary” kind of category, I don’t always use reviews when making a purchase.
