Tourne
Bite Beauty Tourne Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a bright, medium orange with warm, yellow undertones and a creamy finish. It was intensely pigmented with smooth, even coverage that applied easily across the lips. The consistency was lightweight, creamy without being too thick or too thin, and was a cinch to maneuver along the edges of the lips for crisp lines. It wore well for five hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is supposed to be "moisture-rich, high-pigment" in a "liquified" consistency that has a "creamy, comfortable application." It's a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a lipstick (and not so much like a gloss). The majority of the range was incredibly pigmented and spread evenly across the lips. Some shades had a bit of color that sat in my lip lines, which was noticeable from a normal viewing distance with a few but not all. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips, which helped to adhere as none of the shades I have tested have feathered on me. The formula was lightly hydrating, wore for four to seven hours, and had a light, herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.
If you've been following Bite for awhile, you might remember the Cashmere Lip Creams from a few years ago, which were also a liquid formula. Unfortunately, I had a couple leak on me and ended up tossing all of them out of fear, so I couldn't do a true comparison, but from my memory, it was slightly thicker and less tacky while both had a more natural shine after initial application.

Stir
Bite Beauty Stir Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a medium-dark, magenta purple with warm, pink undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff in a single layer, which was somewhat buildable, though the texture felt a little slippery with a second layer so it was harder to maintain. The more emollient quality of this particular shade made it more prone to pulling into my lip lines. It wore well for five hours, left a faint stain behind, and was lightly hydrating over time.

Mix
Bite Beauty Mix Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a bold, medium-dark fuchsia red with cool, blue undertones and a cream finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque, though I could see a hint of my lip freckle peeking through. The texture was lightweight, lightly creamy but not too thick or too thin and had moderate slip. There was a touch of color that sat in my deeper lip liner, which the brighter, richer color helped camouflage from a normal viewing distance. The lipstick lasted well for five and a half hours, left a moderate pink stain behind, and was moisturizing while worn.

Mix and Stir have my name on them!
How does Mix compare with Too Faced Melted Candy Cane?
I’m seeking a dupe for that one.
I don’t especially like liquid lipsticks, but for a great color in a good formula, from a cruelty-free company like Bite, I could make an exception. 🙂
You can compare any two under Swatch Gallery > Compare Any Two or on this page where it says “Compare Any Two”!
The lipsticks look great – I am digging Tourne! But the main reason I’m commenting is to say I love the new(?) tabs for switching between dupes, formula overview, and especially ingredients! It’s a very cool addition to the site and I hope you guys keep it going forward. (seriously, having an ingredients list be so easily accessible is brilliant, considering how difficult most retailer websites make it to find ingredients lists! and if this feature has been around for a while and I’ve just been too inattentive to notice, please ignore me…)
Just a heads up – we’ll have ingredients when we have them but we will definitely fail that test often, just like retailers do, unfortunately! Whatever ingredient lists you see have been available for around two years on all individual formula/product listings (when available), and as always, I try to photograph the ingredients on the box if I have the box.
Totally understandable! It’s still super convenient to have the ingredients easily accessible in the review itself, even if you can’t include them for every product. I just love seeing all the incremental improvements to the site to make it more user-friendly and easy to navigate. Really respect you and your team and all your hard work 🙂
Yup, Mix would work very well for me, but I’m armed and fully duped.
Not surprised 😉
Not sure if I can pull it off but Stir is gorgeous!
These look juicy and lush! However…I do have for Tourne: MAC Morange, for Stir: UD Bittersweet. For Mix, though, I don’t see anything that I feared would be a dupe listed! Nothing! And it certainly helps that I’ve loved Mix from the time you posted swatches! My Mom always loved this shade on me. She called it “rose”. As a result, I went through several tubes of this color in a shade made by I think Almay? Idk, it’s been too long.
Mix is really pretty!
I own three tubes of this formula already. So I know I love the formula. So mix and stir will be mine!
Mix is very beautiful but I have Dior Lip Tattoo in Natural Cherry (lip stain).
Tourne is such a glorious orange shade – so summery. In fact all of these shades have a beautiful finish to them.
I love the finish on these! Mix is my favorite of the three. I think I need it!
Mix is fun but I have Radish! I might replace it once it’s used up with Mix though.
