Burberry Midnight Plum (297) Kisses Sheer Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddened plum with subtle, warm undertones and fine fuchsia micro-shimmer dusted through the color. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation to medium coverage with two layers and and semi-opaque coverage with three layers. It had more translucency compared to most shades (which often looked creamier), so if you tend to like lip stains and more blotted color, it might be a good match. The lipstick was smooth, emollient, and felt like it "melted" as it glided across my lips, though I didn't experience any feathering. It stayed on well for four and a half hours and was moisturizing over time.
